I got through the entire process and it immediately said “order is declined”.

    • JIll

update…. not only did they decline it, for whatever reason, but they actually charged my credit card. the charge for shipping is showing in my pending amount ! UGH.

      • Kim

Pending does not mean it will necessarily go through.

        • JIll

absolutely true, but it bothers me that it hit my account…. now I have to keep an eye on it

      • Delia

It did the exact same thing to me. I logged into my account & they charged the card but automatically reversed it to cancel the charge out. Very weird!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Sorry to hear that 🙁

    • Anna

I had this problem one time because my credit card thought it was fraudulent even though I had plenty of available credit. I had to try other cards until one went through. The declined charges did ultimately go away

  2. Laura

My order went right through without a problem. Received a confirmation email too.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

So glad it went through for you without an issue Laura!

  3. laura

Any good bad reviews on these socks?

    • Kasi

I love these socks. Super comfy and breathable.

  4. Tamara

I am going to try these. I have no idea how many other people have this issue, but when I work out my ankles get TORE UP. I have tried different socks and running shoes. I have tried, tapes, bandages trying to alleviate my problem. I found this crazy trick and it really seems to work well. I take a panty liner place the sticky side to my ankle, then put my sock on. Since I have been doing this, it has really helped. Thanks to Collin and all her great deals on panty-liners, I have plenty on hand! I just wanted to share my trick so maybe someone else out there who is prevented from working out because of blistered / bloody ankles, may find this trick useful 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome 🙂

  5. Crystal

i received the declined message as well.

  6. Heather

I had no problems ordering. I’ve used the Thorlo socks in the past for running and they have been great. I ordered a pair of walking socks to see how they’re different.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Thanks for sharing.

  7. Dee

Looks like my order went through OK. I’m looking forward to trying these, I got the work socks because I tend bar part time and my feet are killing me at the end of my shift even with really good, comfortable shoes!

  8. fuzzymitten

    Thanks, Collin.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      YW!

  9. Mary

Thanks for posting this. The only trouble I had was the completed order says socks ordered are Men’s size (which is what I ordered) then below says women’s! I’m planning to save and give to my husband for Christmas.

    • fuzzymitten

I think that is the conversion size if a woman were to wear a men’s sock.

      • Mary

Yeah you are right! I was on my phone when I placed my order and just went on line to read more and whew no problems for me then. Thanks to Collin!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome Mary! 🙂

Just a heads up some credit card issuers mark this as fraudulent for some reason and decline it. I had to use a different card one time because of this. It is legitimate. I did get my socks…BUT I find it odd that their solution to the socks feeling tight in your shoes is to buy bigger shoes. I’m a runner and I’ve already spent a lot on my running shoes. So I never was able to give the socks a fair chance because they are so big and cushy that I probably would need bigger shoes. And then I’d need all new socks to go with the bigger shoes…

Got a pair of golf socks for my husband to try out! Thanks!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome 🙂

  12. erin

These are my favorite socks! I run a lot and these help with all my foot problems. They are worth every penny but getting them for $5 is amazing. Thanks!!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You are so welcome 🙂

  13. April

    Thanks! Got mine

  14. Wink

    Thank you

  15. Mona

I ordered the free pair a while back (4.99 shipping) so not really free. I was not overly impressed. Too thick and hot for Texas. Additionally they turned hard after repeated washings. I would not pay full price for these ever. I will stick to my three for a dollar brand at King Dollar. But it is wonderful to hear about these deals and thanks a million. Collin, you keep my budget afloat.

  16. Krissy

I have done this twice in the past and never received my socks. It just reminded me when I saw this post.

  17. Cheryl

Ordered a pair this morning. I got an order confirmation email a few minutes later AND a Norton Shopping guarantee email as well. I’m looking forward to trying these. (I always post a calendar event in my phone for 1 month out, to remind myself I ordered and paid for a product – to make sure I get it!). Thank you Hip2Save!
