We have this swing set, and it is actually good! We put a sealer on the wood at the time it was put together. We are on our sixth year with it and it is still going strong.
What kind of sealer did you put?
I called 3 stores…2 stores dont carry any at all have to order online and other store rang it up for me and was $349 on sale 🙁
Garage sales are a great place to pick up a nice swing set too . . . We paid $200 for a really nice one–even has a two story attached treehouse!!
No swing sets at mine but I saw $35 bistro sets, $25 fire pits and $70 patio heaters

I looked it up on the Walmart app and it shows available at my store for $100! The online price is still listed at $299 but if you click “find in store” it will show you which local stores have it and the price at each store.

Check hardware stores like Lowes, Home Depot, and Menards. We got one (missing the slide) that had monkey bars, climbing wall, covered platform, swing, and those things you do flips on (?) for $175 at Menards. It wasn’t marked and we noticed it was the only one they had. They guy thought it was on sale for $350 down from $900. I picked up a slide off of Craigslist for $20.
I don’t see any fire pits on sale in chattanooga, tn 😀

There was only one swing set left in store and it was on clearance for $35!!! I found one online that is similar but not as good (the one we got has a teeter totter) on rollback for $149! So it was probably originally around $200. Thank you!!
I wonder if Walmart will price match to another Walmart? On the app, I found that they have one in my store but it is $349. At another store a few miles away, it is listed on the app for $50 but is out of stock. It might be worth a try!
I was thinking of buying it at a store in stock for $200 and then taking my receipt to the store that has it listed online for $100 and asking then to price adjust it. Will they price adjust to another walmart?
Why don’t you just ask for the price matching when buying, instead of adjusting later.
I called my 2 local Walmart stores and they both said that they do not price match store to store but they will match the online price… So if your store has it for 349 you can price match to the 299 online price, not as great of a deal but it’s an option.

Re: the sealer-
I just went to Home Depot and got a small quart of the wood sealer that the store associate recommended. It was clear, as in, did not change the color. But it prevents moisture from damaging the wood when it is sitting outside, since the swingset did not come pre-treated. I did this based on other online reviews at the time.
I’m a bit confused. I clicked on the link (from my computer) and it is showing the item as only sold online (pickup at store not available). Am I doing something wrong?
I just went to my local walmart and saw this swing and another for $100 the other one cost $500 orginally and that’s the one I got it’s called the oakford swing set! Thanks for posting!
