Does anyone know how much it is usually?

Whole Foods has better quality steaks, but they are so overpriced. These usually go on sale at a mainstream grocery store for $8.99 – $9.99 per lb.

$9/lb is generally the sale price at my Kroger but they are boneless so would obviously weigh less 👍

        ???
        It says bone-in, not boneless.

        • Katie

Oh, you mean at the Kroger?

$3 extra for a quality piece of steak is not too bad. I splurged and tried this the last time Collin posted this. It WAS a “Nordstrom” steak as someone posted! It was a fine fine piece of meat. Will purchase again! Thanks for posting Collin!

Is that supposed to be a deal? It sounds like a rip-off disguised as an offer.

That is a lot of money to pay for meat. I can get steaks just as good at other stores for around $7.50/lb.

    I love your videos!

      Thank You! 😉

Wasnt whole foods just recently caught way over-charging their customers? This still seems like a rip off to me. Not that we have a whole foods in our area anyways… Nor would I ever pay that much. Just putting in my $.2. 🙂

This is not the same quality of meat that you get at a regular grocery store, it’s a much better quality, and you can tell from the taste, it’s like comparing Walmart to Nordstroms. The normal price is around $18.99 in our area. We usually splurge for holidays & birthdays. This is a great deal, thanks Collin!

Does anyone know if these freeze well like it’d I need it in. Month but buy it now will it still taste good later?

Thanks for posting. Quality cost extra and this price isn’t bad for a quality product. You can’t be cheap all the time.

Does anyone have any good recipes on how to cook these? (With no grill) I’ve never actually made steak myself!

    • Myranda

I use my cast iron pan. Search the Alton Brown episode where he cooks steaks. I think on foodnetwork.com there is an exact method from him.

IDK if Collin has posted this or not, but at my local Whole Foods, Applegate packaged deli meats are 40% off until Wednesday. I did the math earlier and I could be wrong but I think it came to 3.5x per package. With the 0.75 coupon on coupons.com, that’s $2.75 for Applegate sliced deli meat!!! NEVER seen it that low.
