And check out what reader Suzanne grabbed…

I just bought a Studio Baked Highlighter in “Blush Gems” which was rated one of the top 5 best new beauty products by Real Simple for $3. I thought other readers might be interested especially with the holidays coming up; cosmetics make great stocking stuffers!

(Thanks, Pooja and Suzanne!)

They also have halloween kits for $5 reg. $10. There called halloween kits but it’s just a mix of products to create different looks. Ex. Angel kit has natural colors.. Witch is more deep tones.

      Cool! Thanks for sharing 🙂

Does anyone have any favorite ELF products they’d recommend?

    • Becks

Their liquid eyeliner is great! Never runs!

    • DBB

      Mineral Infused Face Primer (clear)
      Eyeshadow Primer (sheer)
The items work just as great as the high end cosmetics.

I’ve recently started using products from their studio line and have liked everything I have tried so far; especially the bb cream. The concealers have a good consistency as well. Their brushes are pretty decent for the money,too- especially when my 12 year old likes to swipe them for herself!

I love the eyeshadow/liner sticks. The basic brown is my favorite. They are compact with liner and shadow in one and the color is a goldish brown.

I adore the eyebrow kits for $3 available in light, med, dark. I have tried other products for 3x the cost and they pale in comparison to E.L.F. eyebrow products.

My sister loves the Acne Fighting Foundation. She said it is light and great if you live in a humid area. I love the Bb cream, the Maximum Coverage concealer, the eyebrow kit and the Blush and Bronzing powder St Lucia.

I am an ELF junkie! Their loose mineral eyeshadows are beautiful when used with a primer or wet. I don’t particularly care for their eyeshadow primer though. In my experience it was just oily and didn’t stay on well.

The $3 brow kits easily rival the high end brands (I use daily and receive compliments on my eyebrows). Their bronzer + blush duo is considered a dupe for Nar’s orgasm and is beautiful. The gel eyeliner is AMAZING (also use this daily), great dupe for MAC’s smudgepot. I really like their studio concealer as well. I also really like the HD powder for setting my under-eye concealer. It has a very silky feel to it, but be forewarned that the packaging is big and bulky.

And pretty much all of the studio brushes with 5 stars truly do deserve the 5 star rating. I highly recommend them!

      EYE PRIMER!
If you’re like me, smile with big cheeks-older-don’t use waterproof mascara…this product rocks. I have no problem with my makeup staying in place with this stuff. Without it….my makeup will start to bleed and get into my eyes and it burns/stings. Which is annoying enough for anybody, but when you’re riding your motorcycle, it’s just not safe to be running down the road with your eyes tearing up! So yeah, eye primer is win win in my book.

The face primer is awesome. But after buying it a few times, I wonder how good of a deal I’m getting. I think it is only .48 oz. If you open the container (unscrew the lid) its a very small portion compared to the bottle, which makes it look about 4oz. It is $6. But, if there was another comparable brand to this type of product I’d be willing to try…any suggestions?

I personally really like Maybelline Baby Skin! It costs the same as elf’s mineral primer but with much more product and the quality is about the same.

I like waiting for Black Friday sales and stocking up for the whole year. They usually run 50% off everything.

    • gilly

Yes and free shipping. That’s what i did last year.

    • Dee

Yup, i stocked up last year too at that time. I would wait til then.
