I bought one (different color) as a gift to my friend. I was really disappointed in the cheap looking packaging and “Made in China” note. When she opened the present I was really embarrassed to see how different the apron was from the picture. The apron did not look like it is a $34.95 apron. She commented that the apron would be her Halloween costume.

Some of their aprons are single layer of fabric, others double layer (solid color cotton lining). The “Original” style like this one is double layer, The “Marilyn” and “Sadie” styles are single layer. The “Original” style is sturdy, provides good coverage for curvy girls, and feels like it will easily withstand many washings (haven’t had to wash mine yet). “Marilyn” styles are retro and cute, but that single layer of cotton is more shirtweight than cotton duck and the bottom doesn’t provide much side coverage for curvy girls. The “Sadie” fabric has an odd texture – sort of coated cotton (?) maybe better suited for gardening? Any claims of them being “packaged for gifting” are overblown – they were shipped in a clear plastic sleeve with a stapled heavy stock paper fold-over meant for hanging on a store display. If this was to be a gift, I’d remove it from packaging and wrap nicely. Having said all this, $10 shipped for the “Original” style is a nice deal, in my opinion. Save on, Hipsters!

Got one. This is super cute compared to what I’ve seen. I checked Ebay and they have nothing comparable unless you’re looking for plain without pockets or grandma styles then Ebay would be your best bet. I use these when I cut my family’s hair so I don’t get full of it as well as for cooking. Of course you’re not getting a 60.00 apron but for 10.00 it is really a no brainer for me especially since it appears to be double layered. Thanks, Collin!

I have bought 3 of the flash sale aprons and been super happy with them. If my choice was to get a $60 fancy apron or a slight knock off at $10, I would pick the $10 anyday. Aprons are suppose to get messy so I do not want to spend much more than that one one. It’s still very cute. I also was able to use the 30% off code with mine last flash sale and still get free shipping. Paid $6.99 for the Betty (I think that was the name, the green and pink one).
