Totally junk and I paid under $15 before last Christmas. Hard to clean and the letters came off right off. The grease builds up on the outside plastic. If you don’t mind that and just leave it, it’s alright but I can’t stand when I go to grab it and my hands get a thick greasy feel to them. It is nice because you can empty the grease but most of these you can. I would look for a different brand.

    • Hello

how do you remove the used oil after using? thanks.

      • Brianna

Everything black is what is hard to clean. The oil is stored in a separate container inside the fryer. That part is REALLY nice. It comes out and I dump the oil in a used coffee can or old oil bottle. I make sure to save the bottle I used on the prior fill up and use a funnel and put in the trash the day the trash trucks comes. Make sure the lid is on good if you prefer to just put it in the trash earlier than trash day or you might get a mess. Sometimes a coffee can if handy is quicker or a formula can. It is a nice feature to be able to clean the oil out. And I do still use mine, it is just frustrating that the black parts are hard to clean the grease off. It has the lid, but somehow it still gets all around the controls no matter what I try.
