I love Corelle. Very resistant. I’ve been buying one plate at a time from Kmart with my points. Lol. The square ones are $3.75. I also noticed a couple of 4 person sets on clearance between $25-$35

That’s a great idea to grab them with your points! Thanks so much for your feedback Roxy.

I am doing same thing. Local kmart has most corelle dinner plate for 2.74, soup bowls for 2.74 and dessert bowl for 3.74. So far I was able to get 8 square dinner plates and 8 square bowls. All free after my surprise points.

We have been using the same Corelle for 20 years now! So durable and great for kids.

    • Ashley

Yep, my parents have had the same set for over 25 years!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for sharing. Glad to hear that!

Can’t say enough about Corelle. Exceptional quality and amazingly they don’t chip or break. Don’t get scratched and they are glazed glass all over (no rough bottoms like some stoneware plates I’ve seen). I’ve had the same plain white set since I moved out of my parents house — 20 years ago! I now have 3 kids and tile floors. No broken plates. 😊

My parents still have their Corelle set from their wedding (although it’s pretty dated now so they have some plain pieces to match it)

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh how cool! Thanks for such a great review Joy!

I’ve had a set for 25 years. Also, at our town recycling center we have what’s called a ‘Treasure House’ where people put unwanted items for other people in the town to take, I can often pick up extra Corelle pieces for free 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

What a neat idea! Thanks for sharing Amy.

The price went up to $209.95

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Bummer. Looks like you can still grab it from Walmart for $124.97.

If anyone has a shoprite close by they have Corelle plates 4/$10.. Not a bunch of patterns but they have all the diff sizes and plain white which kinda goes with everything. And best of all they have the serving trays for 6.49 a piece which is the cheapest I’ve ever seen them. Usually on sale they’re about $15.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Thanks for the heads up!

  9. Jess

I too love Corelli but mine is about two years old and breaks every single time it falls on our tile floor, and shatters. 🙁

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh darn. So sorry to hear that Jess.

I have been wanting a Corelle set like this forever! We use a lot of plates and bowls, but I don’t need anymore mugs! ( I like HUGE mugs…and they are usually pretty small in sets) This set is perfect. ..ordered the “City Block” from Walmart!
