Lots of the barbies are out of stock. As soon as I placed my order one of the barbies became unavailable but the price was still $9.98 for just the one barbie. I called customer service and they fixed it and gave me another barbie for the same deal. They have good prompt customer service though.

Anyone else have their order cancelled? I just got an email today. 🙁
I just got that email also, saying my order had been cancelled. But it didn’t list what was in the order. And we actually already got the order on Monday. Who knows?
Well my order made it all the way to the post office in Fuquay 11/12/13 when Mattel cancelled my order. The email 11/13/15 stated: “Thanks so much for shopping at Mattel! We’re disappointed to let you know that we are unable to complete your order 3284473328. We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience.
The following is unavailable and has been removed from your order: ”
Nothing listed after the colon. Apparently it was the Carbonaro Effect at its finest – it was there and *POOF* it was gone! Too bad too, the recipient is a rabid Barbie collector and fan. All she knew was she was getting a package today. The joke is on us!
Well I was hoping it was a joke, but the UPS site states i”The post office was unable to deliver the UPS SurePost® package as addressed. Please contact the sender for assistance.”
The address is correct. That is where my friend lives, she gets mail and packages there.
Who knows?
The barbies just showed up and I received an email from Mattel stating that the cancellation was in error. Strange, but at least this Christmas present is still on track. 🙂
