Your son is correct. Due to the ongoing legal battles the NCAA has had with its athletes and using their names/likeness all over to make billions, they cut ties with Ea Sports who made their games. There has not been a college basketball game (for lack of sales) for almost ten years. Your son is talking about college football which was the big revenue generator and they stopped making it last year.

No it was from Walmart on Black Friday. I’d be surprised if they didn’t offer an awesome deal on the Xbox one this year. Hopefully it’ll be one of their one hour guarantee deals.

Keep in mind that I believe starting Sunday Target will be having a buy two get one free video game sale. So if you got two “new” games at $60 each, plus one free, that’s three games for $120. So for $470 ($349+$120) OOP, you would get an Xbox one, wireless controller, headset, free trial to Xbox live, a free downloadable game and 4 other games plus a $50 credit to Amazon. The 5 games alone at regular price would be roughly $300, and the wireless controller is $30… So combining these deals makes for a phenomenal price for everything you get.

They must both be sold AND shipped by Amazon. Make sure your console is $349. Not $341. The $341 will be shipped from somewhere else and is not eligible. Once I got the $349 in my cart it worked perfectly. HTH.

I am not seeing the free game OR the gift card. What the heck am I doing wrong? Is it in a specific place or happen during checkout? Even when I go to checkout it isn’t taking the game off or offering a gift card. Both are amazon products. Now I’m just frustrated with myself because this shouldn’t be complicated. Help please 🙂
Hi Danielle! Did you add each the xbox and the free game to your cart? I just did this and found the price of the game deducted in my cart, then below that it states your qualifying offers. “Free Game Applied” & “Xbox One Promotion”. Maybe also try this in a different browser. Hope that helps!
I did the Kinect bundle with the 3 “free” games included ($399), which also includes the $50 gift card and one free game. I chose Halo 5 as my free game and for some reason it did not deduct the full value when I checked out (only deducted $18 instead of $59). I went ahead and checked out, then contacted Amazon about the issue. They said they weren’t sure why it didn’t work, but that the game definitely qualifies and I will not be charged when it ships. The issue went to “marketing and promotions” so hopefully they will be fixing it on the website altogether. I will certainly watch my card when it ships to make sure. Also, the $50 credit will come separately, in an email when it ships, I think. Going to use that to get another controller. Hoping the game deals will roll in over the next few weeks and I can pick up some more great games for my kiddos. A lot of these bundles come only with the “mature” games, which I don’t want. I want ones rated “Teen” or lower. I am keeping everything in box with receipt in case a truly spectacular deal comes up on Black Friday or thereabout that I can’t resist (and can be purchased from my computer!). If it does, then I’ll just return these items. Amazon has easy returns and the shipping cost is reasonable. It would have to be a really great deal, though- I think this is a pretty nice deal already.
