Awesome! Snagged for my 3.5 year old for Xmas 😊! I’ve been watching for a great bike deal that wouldn’t break the bank but was quality to pass to her little sister next. Thanks!

Perfect! You are so welcome Sarah!

We have this bike and our daughter loves it! We bought it for her when she was 2.5 so it’s going to take her a while to learn to ride it.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Thanks for your feedback Ash!

Oh my goodness, I have saved so much on Christmas gifts this year with your help! My 4 year old is going to be SO excited!

From experience, you might want to think about a 16″. I have an average 3 1/2 year old and she is in the 16″. Plus you have it for longer.

      • Sarah

I respectfully disagree. I think it depends on the child. My 5 year old has a 16″ tony hawk bmx that is perfect for him (but was big when we got it) and he’s an incredibly good rider (no training wheels ever). My super cautious 3.5 year old can not handle his bike at all with training wheels. This is a great starting point at this price!

Sarah, you probably are right. My 3 1/2 year old daughter never used training wheels (b/c of learning on a balance bike). She can ride the 12″ fine, but we find the larger bike is much more suited for longer rides (2-4 miles). Probably my frugality but I tend to buy bigger and get more use out of things. 🙂

My 3 year old has a 12″ bike and it is perfect for her. She is in the 92 percentile for height.

I was torn between a 12 vs a 14 inch for a 3 year old and everyone told me to go with the 14 inch. And i found this size chart–
For a 14 inch bike the child height is 3’1″-3’7″….my daughter is already in that range and shes 2.5.

      Awesome Meg!

They’ll probably have a 10″ for $29 for Thanksgiving weekend if you can’t get this one now. They did for at least the last 2 years.

Any word on the amazon phones with prime for the first year.. My boyfriends phone broke last week but been holding out because I felt like I have seen it posted several times in the past. Hoping another one pops up soon.. Any input?

      • Danielle

I got it last time it was listed but have been looking for my mom with no luck yet.
