I tried using the $15 off coupon while buying a votive for $1.99 and a candle that was 14.99. It was taking off the 1.99 and charging me the $14.99 so I ended up passing on it.
I spent 14.99 on one item and it was free, didn’t have to purchase anything else. What ever you purchase has to be under $15. If you go over it will give you the discount for the lower price item.
My store said I would have to spend $10 to use tbis coupon!!!

I didn’t have to purchase anything to use mine. I had one of each and so did my husband. We got 2 of the 14.99 snowman tea light burners that include 12 scented candles in each, a 5 set of the 11.99 holiday scented votives, and then a 19.99 medium pillar Christmas cookie candle. Paid $13 total for everything out of pocket due to the amount over. I feel like we got a pretty good deal.

Used both at BBB but it was a hassle even though I asked first. I did buy one get one 50% off holiday scents for 2 candles but when I tried to use the $15 coupon cashier said I couldn’t have the discount with the coupon. Then with the $10 coupon I had 2 room fresheners that were 2 for $10 but she said I had to pay over $10 so she charged me 49 cents each. Then they told me they wouldn’t honor these coupons in the future because they were “internet coupons” not from the manufacturer (even though I had actually gotten them in the Yankee candle email). This ended up taking over 10 mins total to check out and I felt terrible for the people behind me. I’m glad in the end I was able to use them, but it was such a hassle I won’t try there again in the future.
I had a similar issue. The coupon states that it can’t be combined with other promos, so the buy one, get one 50 percent off was a no go.
I went to my local px to use these coupons and they took them no problem! I was able to buy the a wax melt and got a14.5 oz candle free with the $15 off coupon and also a 12 oz candle free with the $10 off coupon.

I used the Shopkick app coupon in the Dedham, MA store this afternoon and it worked great. I got the small jar candle in chocolate layer cake for $1.06 including tax. It was $10.99 before tax and coupon so it was a great deal. Thanks, Colin!

The screen at the top came up with something saying you could get a coupon so I touched that screen and then a button at the bottom said something about getting the offer or the coupon so I did. It was very slow so when you get the coupon up finally either screen shoot it or lock your screen. I held up the line in my store waiting for it to come up.
Ok I just pulled it up. First select Yankee Candle from a site search. Then there’s a few different screens that rotate through the top screen. Wait until the one appears with a $10 offer in it. Then click that on and it says show offer in the bottom left. Then the bar code should pop up. But like I said before, it’s slow. Be patient.
I ended up buying two car vent air fresheners and paid $1.05, including tax, using the $10 off with the purchase of anything. Thanks for the posting Colin!

Worked at my BB & B and I scored a $27 candle that was on sale for $16.70 and I had to buy a $1.99 small candle and my store let me do it! And I got a wall scented oil warmer that was 12.99 for $2.99 so for all 3 items I got them for $6 and some change!
Amazing coupon! My store let me use each coupon up to three times. I didn’t want to be too greedy so my son and I only used the $10 one 3 times each. We got $60 worth of stuff for $0. AND it is valid tomorrow too, so we are going back and bringing the hubby! 🙂 Got lots of Christmas gifts tonight for my sons teachers!
The $10 coupon worked fine, but the $15 coupon was not as easy to use. I was buying an item for $19.99 and I needed to purchase another item $14.99 or less and the 2nd item for $14.99 or less would have been deducted from the total. They let me use the $10 off coupon again for my other purchase. Still walked away a happy customer 🙂
I was disappointed on the 15 dollar coupon. It takes off the lowest price of the items you get. I’d still pay $15.
That wasn’t the case for me, it automatically took off my higher priced item and the manager double checked to make sure that it did. I only paid for my $1.99 votive.
I went to my store earlier this afternoon to use the $15 value coupon. The large Pure Radiance candles were on sale for $15. At first the cashier said I could use that as my free item, but when she scanned the coupon it made my votive free instead. She thought it was because it was on sale, so I picked a gift set and the coupon discounted the gift set. So I think it may have something to do with the item chosen?

It definitely must come down to the stores and employees. I just left ours and the lady was so nice. Everyone in there had both coupons and she basically just told everyone to pick out $25 worth of stuff! So we got a large hot candle for just $3.25 after tax. Score!

While I was in the store today using my $10 off coupon, the manager told her employees that Yankee Candle sent her a email that said customers do NOT have to spent the full amount to get the item for free. This was around 3:30 central time. So she told her employees that if someone just wanted to spend 8 dollars they would get that item for free and wouldn’t have to spend a total of $10. FYI.
I went to the PX and the smaller jar candles were on sale for $8.50. I got a small candle for $1.89 to get it over $10, I thought I’d have less issues with it being over $10. So I got the two candles for $.39. I’m going to save them to give as a teacher present.
I had a horrible experience at BBB the 10 off anything beeped and the manager didnt want to accept it;( im trying a different place tomorrow did anybody had this issue?
The coupon won’t scan at BBB. They have to deduct it manually. Mine came off as cash.
BBB they had to do both manually, they combined the two and did one as a free one and the 10 off as a cash coupon, so tax was added for the 10 off.
So does the $15 coupon just take $15 off if you get a higher-priced item? I’m seeing people mention things like using it to get a $16.xx candle for $1.xx after coupon. I ended up getting the $10.99 small jar candle because I couldn’t find much else close to $15 but it’s so tiny– the small tumbler candle was $15.99 and I would have rather paid the dollar and gotten that, but I didn’t think it would be allowable.

Disappointing?? I am always thankful for anything that is free with coupon or really close to free like this deal. To be honest, there could be no coupon at all, and you’d have nothing. Be thankful.
Not sure if you were referring to me, but I definitely am thankful! Just saw that other people mentioned getting the higher value items so I was curious as to how it worked out for them.
I look at these coupons as a low-cost way to try scents I wouldn’t otherwise. Things are pricey there, but you can use the coupon on larger items, too, if you aren’t interested in the cheaper items.

Was a hassle to use coupons. Thought I would be leaving there with decent items; everything under $15 was so small and not worth the drive to this store.
I got the gift box set of 5 Christmas votive candles, used the $10 coupon, paid $2.12. Then I got the silver reindeer votive holder and a votive candle, used the $15 coupon, paid $2.12. There were of good things to use the coupons on.
I got a wax warmer and three scents with it, I spent $7 total! So awesome! Thank you. 🙂
My store rang up these coupons separately. No problem on the $10 off. I got a small jar candle and $1.06 ($10.99 less $10 coupon equals .99 then paid .07 tax). On the $15 I tried to buy a $15.99 candle but it wouldn’t take. Then she asked a coworker if he had trouble with the coupon ringing up and he said it had to be under $15. So I got a small jar candle and added a car air freshener to get closer to $15 and paid $3.20 ($10.99 candle free and $2.99 plus .21 tax). Wish I had tried to see if the jar candle would have rung up free without getting the air freshener. But so grateful for the deal. Btw they had a cute black clutch type purse for sale at the counter for $15 that one worker tried to suggest I get but the manager shot it down for the $15 coupon and said it wouldn’t work. I bet it would have.

Husband and I were able to use these with no minimum purchase. We could use it on 3 separate transactions each so we between us we got $7.99 holiday votive holders and 1.99 votive candles totaling $60 of merchandise for free. Yay for teacher gifts!
Went to BBB told the cashier I had coupons and wanted to do two separate transactions, I think he was new there so another cashier came in, then she consulted with her manager saying they had not seen the coupons before and had no idea how to put them in register finally manager had to come and put the coupons but finally everything went well after about 10 min. Got one jar candle worth 10.99 the coupon took off $10 so I paid 1.05 with taxes. Then 2nd transaction bought a candle worth 9.99 and 3 sampler worth 1.99 each total $15.96 coupon took off $15 so paid $1.02 with taxes.
I bought a wax melt for $2.14 and got a free $15 candle
I also used a $10 coupon I printed and my husband used one on his phone. However the coupon says no minimum but the cashier said the company messed up and it has to be $10 or more. That didn’t seem fair to me since they messed up printing them.
Was able to use both coupons on separate transactions. Each one ended up being $2.15 oop which is great for 2 very nice gifts! Thxs

Went to Yankee Candle last night, got 1 votive, tealight pack, tealight Snowman holder, just had to pay for votive plus tax on it. They did two separate transactions, the employees were really nice.
Our Cracker Barrel honors them too!
My Cracker Barrel said no because all their Yankee Candles items are on sale and the coupon says not valid on sale items! 🙁

Went at 11 a.m. to my Yankee Candle and Corporate issued a memo today hat it will take the lower priced item off now, so if you buy a $1.99 item it will take that off, not the $15 item. So in order to get the $15 taken off, you now have to buy two items that were at least $15 each. With tax, my two items came to $32 and I paid $19. Still a nice deal but not quite as nice. The $10 off anything still works as stated, I got a small jar candle for .99.

I did it at the Yankee store, and was able to use the $10 and the $15 coupon for some teach er gifts. I didn’t want to seem greedy and risk them not doing it again later, so I only printed out one of each, even though I guess I could have done that for my husband too. Got a small jar for free ($10.99) and then some votive for free. Spent just under $7, but that was for the small jar, and 8 votives, which are usually $1.99 each, so was pretty happy!

I went and used both coupons and only paid $0.99 plus tax for a small jar candle. The $14.99 item with the $15 coupon was free. The same woman helps my husband an hour later and she tells him he has to buy something else with the $15 coupon to get it free. It annoys me when they change their rules like that. I never would have brought him if I thought he’d have trouble…this is why he never coupons with me. 🙁

this says you can use it at khols, but it does not work there. So bummed I picked out my candle argued with the salesman about having 4 coupons with 4 people and then when he scanned it it didn’t work.
In the fine print Collin posted, it specifically says it excludes Kohl’s.
