   Kohls is cheaper during the Black fri sale…or if u got the 40% off..then its cheaper now…i got this same model for $168(including taxes) last year in Dec from Kohls when there was a 40% off…using Shop discover 10%CB…

   I bought this mixer a few years back in the red… There were 2 rebates on it and I ended up getting this OUTSTANDING mixer for a little over $100! I LOVE IT!!! Even at $289 it is a great price! It will tackle your most difficult mixing project!

   Do you all prefer the tilt head or the rising bowl feature? I want a mixer for regular home use. Can anyone please suggest a suitable one. TIA

  I have had both. I honestly don’t see any difference in the ability of the machine to do it’s job. I ended up moving to a lift when I upgraded to a 6 qt. So if you only need 4.5/5 qt, tilt would be fine. If bigger, get the lift. The ice cream attachment worked better with my tilt head. That’s my only regret.

  I have the bowl-lift style. I prefer this because most of my counter space has upper cabinets over it. The tilt style wouldn’t fit underneath.

   So I have this same one with the metal bowl. It is literally my most prized possession. The issue is that the glass bowl is extraordinarily heavy without anything in it so if you are making a double or triple batch of cookies, it will be almost unmanageable to lift. Otherwise, the best mixer money can buy.
