In case any one is interested, we have two of these and really like them. They’re large though, and you can only fit two in the back of a car…which I imagine is pretty typical. ๐Ÿ™‚

      Thanks for sharing Briana!

My 7 month old has this seat and we LOVE it! It is large though so probably not great for smaller cars but she’s in the captain’s chair behind the driver’s seat & it fits perfectly.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for your review Meg! Good to know! ๐Ÿ™‚

Can the seat cover be removed?

    • Kristin

Yes you can take it off. We have this and I just threw the cover in the wash

    • Momof3

Yes. We have had to remove ours several times. Washes really nice in the washing machine on gentle.

Out of stock at Walmart ๐Ÿ™

Still in stock Walmart.com for me. Are you sure your not checking in store rather then online?

We have a Graco myride 65 for our daughter and love it. We had her rear face til she turned two. Now it’s turned around and we still will get to use it til she probably turns 3. She’s in the 95th percentile, so she’s really tall for her age. The seat cover doesn’t stain easily. I’ve only washed it once since we’ve had it. Great seat and great price. We paid much more.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Thanks for your feedback Val!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Sweet! Glad you could grab such great savings!

  7. Shannon

Great seat. Easy to install and easy to clean. Highly recommend as works for rear facing and forward facing.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh good!! Thanks for such a great review Shannon!

Used a $25 gc from swagbucks, order came to $60 after tax and gc. YAY! Just in time for baby number 5. That makes 5 kids 5 and under, thank goodness for good deals! lol

    • Megan

Congrats! I have a new baby due in May! So it’ll make the 6th kid ( all boys!!!) under age 7!!

Considering using with our little one coming. In the past we’ve had the infant seats that you can put them in inside the house and snap into the base. Did anyone miss that feature??

    • Jenna

I’ve had several friends skip the bucket seat and go straight to a rear facing convertible. I considered it with our last baby, but the benefit of keeping baby in their seat during errands when they fall asleep outweighed the benefit of skipping the bucket seat for me. I hate waking a sleeping baby!

Just be aware that this seat is gigantic, and will not fit well in a smaller vehicle or work 3 across with other car seats. Aside from that, it’s a good seat. A better budget alternative for those who need more space, is the Graco MySIZE, which fits well in small cars and can be used 3 across with other seats. It also goes by other names depending on retailer–MySIZE, Size4Me, Contender, Headwise.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Good to know Megan. Thanks for sharing!

Amazon has Graco My Ride 65 LX Convertible Car Seat, Coda for $79 too and Walmart is selling it for $123. Can someone tell me if there is any difference between “Graco My Ride 65 LX Convertible” and “Graco My Ride 65 Convertible”. They have same specifications.

  12. Kathysmith

Would this be a good seat for a child two and half,, want one that we can use for few years.

    • Briana

My (very tall) 2 1/2 year old uses it, and probably will for another year or so.

  13. Christy

So even though the weight limit of this car seat and 65 pounds forward facing, most people will stop Using it when their kids turn three?

    • Jenna

My 4yo uses it. She prefers it to our radian actually.

  14. Kati

Does anyone know the hight limit? My twins are 5 and only weigh 38 lbs, but they are typical hight for 5 year olds and fit into 5t clothes….just wondering since they are so light if they’d outgrow the seats by hight first. Thanks!

If you are looking for something more girly the also have the appleicious pattern for $79 at Walmart and Amazon.
