I just discovered this deal was live already when I went to Walmart’s website to confirm I had set my alarm clock for the correct time to get up and buy it. So glad I don’t have to wake up at 2 a.m.!! Anyone seen any good deals on games?

And it’s gone wah wah! It’s wringing up ate 159 for me. Keep in mind this is the 3ds xl that was released a few years back not the “new” 3ds xl that was released this year. I am not sure what the difference is, besides the price tag, but apparently there is a difference.

Okay I’m clueless are they both called the same 3DSXL the new one and old one do I know the difference ?
The new version can use the Amiibo characters to enhance game play on certain games like on the Wii U.
I was on the Walmart website around 6:30 and a lot of the sale prices went live for about 10 mins and then switched back to regular price. I was able to get the $7.95 DVDs, $25 video games and the $9 Star Wars Infinity Character I needed all on sale before it switched back. I no do not have to go any where but CVS in the morning.

I thought it was really weird! I’m glad I checked out really fast and had my cart ready to go! It’s like they where testing it or something.
The “new 3ds xl” has improved processing, graphics, better 3D, and some additional control thing. It’s the one that’s $199. The “plain” 3ds xl is the same size but slower and not as sharp. All 2 and 3 D machines can play earlier games, I’m not certain but do not think there are any games yet that don’t play on older machines yet. Of note- the New 3ds xl doesn’t come with a charger cord. I’m hoping to find the 179 price a few stores have for Black Friday online.

Those of you that scored this deal check your email. A friend got this for $129 and then got an email shortly after and her money refunded without explanation. The price then went up shortly after. Seems like it may have been a glitch.
Not a glitch, they just likely ran out of stock. It was advertised. I got the go live alert from SD and was able to grab one way earlier. I’m sure this type of deal will come along again, still got a month before Xmas and there is a newer model so I think they would want to push these older ones out.
Found the black one on Amazon for $129.
