I bought something like this last year and it is definitely a time consuming project to put together. It is not for someone who does not read instructions. It is a blast to play with so don’t get me wrong. It was just one of those toys that my husband didn’t want to deal with. Just had to share my experience but the kids liked to play with it.
Thanks for your review Jessica! Good to know 😉
I had this when I was a kid, and it was one of my favorite things! Half the fun was putting it together myself. =)
Oh how cool! Thanks for sharing Rayne!
What is the best age for this? My kids are 4 & 2. Thinking they’re a little young for this one.
4 and 2 is a little young yet for this. 6 is a good entry age as you can build according to directions or build as you please. My kids have had this for a couple of years, are now 6 and 9 and are really starting to get into being creative with it on their own.
Besides, this toy uses marbles and 2 year-olds could put them in their mouths and choke.
I was thinking the same thing Deb! Marbles + little ones= not a good mix. When the kids are older, I’ll buy something like this. It looks like fun!
Does anyone know how long this will last? I have a $50 amazon gift card at home but we aren’t heading home til tomorrow.
We got one for the kids last Christmas. My 7 yr old can build it now. My then 2 year old loved to send the marbles down over and over again, now 3.5 and still loves to play with it.
Cool! Thanks for sharing Kristi!
