I bought a wooden beaded necklace sort of tribal looking and yes it leached some nasty black onto my clothing and neck, idk! I’d be leary. But I do like their stuff but cheap jewelry is cheap jewelry. Wear at your own risk.😁
It is a mixed metal. As long as you don’t wear it in water you should be good.

You can use the code that takes $9.95 off for the bracelets that don’t qualify for the other code. The “actually, I can” bracelet won’t qualify for the better code.

You probably shouldn’t wear it in the shower, it will eventually discolor if you do.

I don’t want to be negative, but I ordered some items from their last sale and one jewelry piece came with a missing bead and another item was missing from the order. There was no phone number on the packing slip so I emailed the company letting them know the problems. This was a few days ago and I have gotten no response. In addition, the bottom of the packing slip says they are not responsible for return shipping EVEN IF the item is damaged or broken. Very disappointing, and I fear I’ve wasted my hard earned money.

Id sure love to get these but I can’t seem to
find any info on their site which tells me what type of metal the tribal braclets are made from.

They are a mixed metal. They should last you a long time as long as you don’t wear them in the shower.
In my experience their stuff is on the cheap side. If I paid full price I’d feel ripped off. Luckily I’ve bought on clearance so I’m happy with my experience but again if I paid their normal prices I’d be upset. Their jewelry looks like it comes from China and I’d put it on par with like a Claire’s type quality. I’ve not ordered these bracelets so perhaps these are the exception but I’d be cautious if you have high hopes for a quality piece that will last more than a season.

We had these on preorder last time with the date they would be in and ready to ship. These bracelets are all in stock now and ready to ship out first of next week. You will have them in time to give as gifts for Christmas.
mine was a preorder last time too and it came exactly when they said it would.
I also don’t want to be negative but I bought 4 last month and they just arrived last week. They weren’t on back order either. Also these bracelets are pretty but large (I have a small to average wrist) but the band with the words is heavy and gravity makes the bracelet naturally turn word plate to face downward on the underside of the wrist. So when wearing it the name plate will hit any surface you touch and no one will see the cute words. Last I wanted to return because I’ll never wear due to the way it hangs but the rerun policy is terrible. It’s an exchange only policy for something else. And you pay for return shipping. I just wanted to warn folks because I love this site and I read your comments before I buy ( most of the time) 😀 in my opinion I wouldn’t buy this bracelet. Mine are hanging off a vase now. An “expensive ” reminder to me to not impulse purchase even if on sale.

I just spent 30 minutes or more trying to order the yes I can bracelet and I keep getting strange messages basically telling me I can’t order it or the order won’t go through. First one told me American Express is not accepted even though it is clearly marked on their site that they do… ?? Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

I purchased these bracelets last time they were on special. They come packaged in clear plastic bag with a “Made in China” tag on them. I did write to Cents of Style and they said I could exchange for something else, but they will not give you back your money. Unfortunately, I was under the impression that Cents of Style were all “hand crafted” items, not stuff they purchased from China.
If you would like to ship the bracelets back to us we are happy to refund you. We did design these bracelets but they are not hand made.
I ordered from This company for the first time a few weeks ago. Not impressed! I only received one item and I ordered 3. I sent them an email On Monday about it and was told they were looking into it. Today is Friday and I still haven’t heard back from them! Very disappointed with their customer service.
