This is about the fifth or sixth post like this in the last two or three weeks. Each time I got nothing. 😕 Happy for those who are getting them though.
I have an $8 off of $8 clothing. how does this work? Do I have to buy $8 dollars worth and then they will give me $8, or will they use the $8 surprise points to pay for the $8 worth of clothes. Everytime I go in there my surprise points never work.
Buy $8 and request the cashier use the $8 in surprise points. In my experience if the surprise points aren’t working, its because you are trying to buy items that don’t “qualify”. There are usually restrictions. HTH.
Not exactly true… They have had issues the past few weeks, If you call shop your way they will confirm and add the points as “regular” points VS surprise.
Yes nothing but problems. Tried placing two orders this week with Sears and Kmart. All items met the requirements. Each time surprise points did not come of online checkout. Did online chat with Sears rep and supposedly they refunded my credit card. Kmart I just gave up. This is the most ridiculous and confusing reward program ever. 🙁 very frustrating.
Same with me. I’ve spent so much time shopping to use my points, then I go to checkout and my points are not accepted! I read the fine print to make sure my purchase qualifies and I don’t see that it’s excluded. Waste of time!
I’ve gotten all my oldest sons clothes for Christmas with the surprise points. I just got another $7 after using $9 and have a $10/$20 purchase too. ♡ in shop your way!

I got a 15 of 30 kids clothing purchase at Sears and I won 4 in points today with the instant sweeps
can you tell me what instants sweeps did you play for the points?
I downloaded the shop your way app and it has them all on there you you hit rewards then sweeps and then instant sweeps it’s usually slow and takes forever to load but they updated there site and I was able to play them all and won a dollar twice and then won smaller amounts I think it only lets you play once a day you mostly don’t win though lol
I agree it takes forever but I was able to get over 40.00 in a few weeks playing a couple games daily!! After the 40.00 surprise points, a couple dollars surprise points, 5.00 coupon and just a couple dollars I had in points from purchases, I got a $60.00 toy son wants for 3 cents!!!!! Soooooo worth the patience playing!!!

I got the $8 off of $8 kids clothing! I use my surprise point weekly. If they don’t work out for you I would ask a cashier to look up you points and give you specifics of what they can be used for.

I had $10 in points for men’s clothing that expired yesterday I didn’t get to use. (gasp!) I have $10 off $25 for men’s clothing now. Plus I got a postcard in the mail today for $20 back in points for a $20 or more qualifying purchase. I only shop at Kmart when I have surprise points.

They are only for certain items. Customer service can Tell you what those are
I get the foods and drink ones everweek.It usually stuff like power aid drinks buy 2then they give me $1 in surprise points.I get $2 in surprise points on Starbucks Coffee sometimes it on sale for $2 (water,laundry detergent).Check your email they send email explaining surprise points ever week .The email say your one of a kind lol…..Hope this was helpful

I got $10 off a $20 Kmart kids clothes purchase and $20 off a $40 Sears any clothes purchase. They don’t expire until next week, so I’m hoping to take advantage of them then. I’m kind of running out of kids’ clothes on Kmart, to be honest. There’s not much left in my kids’ sizes that are either eligible for free store pickup for free max shipping, and getting $35 worth of clothes to get the free shipping kind of defeats the point when I’m trying to use the points to get the clothes for extremely cheap or free (and the shipping costs otherwise are really, really expensive imo!!)
I too try to get as near free as I can get. However, this time I got a $20 off a $40 Sears cloths. I really did need some warm cloths for my baby since she just had a growth spurt and we live where it gets -30 degrees often in winter. I was able to get each item for $5.50 each shipped. I thought these weren’t too bad after the $20.00 off. I don’t know if this would help anyone looking around. I got a 20.00 and a 9.00 to bad I have no idea how to use them. I have tried in the past to use them to my order and nothing is ever there. I get tons of these emails just don’t understand.
First you have to see what they are on.Example; I had $10 in surprise points on women’s clothes if I spend $10.So I found a shirt for $11.99.I told cashier I had surprise points I wanted to use.I only paid $2.17 for shirt. If it online all u do is go on kmart.com sign in and load stuff in cart and go to check out .It will show you if you can use your surprise points on the item .If it doesn’t show up you can use points on item.Hope this was helpful.
You can use your surprise pts with your rewards. Ex: Shirt $11.99, use $10 surprise pts, use $2.00 in rewards, = Free!
I have 13off40 at Sears and $9 at Kmart.
I get surprise points all the time, but I never can get them to apply. I had $14 off a &14 purchase and put $16 worth in my cart and all it showed was the normal points I had… Not taking off the surprise points. Any tips?
May be you try to use them not on appropriate purchase, i.e. men clothing instead of woman.
First you have to make sure u sign in on Kmart.com.Then you must check see what it on .Exsample ; if it say women clothes it must be women clothes only are it won’t take surprise points off.Just put it in your shopping cart and click checkout and will automatically show you if you can use surprise points.Also it must be items sold by Kmart or Sears .I hope this was helpful.

I have had trouble using my points online as well. However, tonight we went to a Sears store and they worked great. I had a $10 off $10 in tools. We bought a pair of plyers for one of our boys for a sticking stuffer. I only paid 89 cents and that included tax! I also had a $5 off $5 that didn’t have any restrictions. I bought another stocking stuffer! I love almost FREE!

I’ve gotten $11 off $11 two days in a row. Used them yesterday and got more today. It said for clothing only, but the points applies to a car seat I bought for my son.
Off topic. Did anyone receive their points from the flash light purchase last week? I though I read that they would post on the 4th but I don’t see anything in my acct.
I haven’t gotten my points yet either. I did call Shop Your Way, and they said that they could see that the points should come to me but it can take up to 10 days. They suggested calling back early next week if I still didn’t have them. Ridiculous!

Very confusing program. I supposedly had $14 for any item at Kmart or Sears, and $10 for any item at Kmart or Sears. When my order came to $40+, I expected that all $24 surprise points would apply, but only the $14 came off. Can you use more than one at a time? This is a very cumbersome rewards setup– don’t like it that I can’t track what’s going on….
They don’t combine, unfortunately.
I don’t have much luck with Shop Your Way and find it confusing and frustrating. This morning I had $5 off $5 at Sears and $20 off $40 in clothing. I added $40 to my cart but it only wanted to take the $5 off instead of the $20, so I deleted all but one item and successfully used the $5 then I went back to see if I could then use the $20 in a separate transaction and it was gone.
