Restaurant.com: $25 Gift Certificate ONLY $4.25Today only, December 7th, Restaurant.com is offering up a $25 certificate for ONLY $3 when you use the promo code YULE at checkout.

Here’s what you’ll need to do…

*Click here to find a restaurant in your neighborhood (search by zip code or city)

*Browse through the list of participating restaurants in your area (you will be able to view the menu, location, and phone # for each restaurant)

*Pick your restaurant and the appropriate certificate amount and then click add to cart; be sure to read the restaurant’s special instructions before purchasing the certificate; many restaurants require that you make a minimum purchase, many add 18% gratuity prior to the certificate being applied, some may state valid for food or dinner only, and some may restrict the days that the certificate can be used (i.e. Monday-Friday only).

*Enter the promo code YULE into the “Promo Code” box; your discount will then be applied to your purchase. AND your final cost for a $25 certificate will be just $3!

These are great deals but I don’t think I will ever order from them again. We bought several for a local pizza place a couple years ago and they refused to honor them. Not restaurant.com’s fault but that experience turned me off from trying it again!

Darn. So sorry to hear that Abby. Thanks for sharing.

You can exchange the certificates you did not use for current restaurants on the website. Go to your Accounts page and select “exchange”.

That’s what I dislike about Restaurant.com. Restaurants never stay with the program for long. Basically once you buy the certificate, go use it.

Abby, if you still have those vouchers in your account (and you should if they haven’t been marked as redeemed), exchange them out for vouchers for a different restaurant of your choice. I have done that online in a minute or two and it has always worked great.

Do you know if this I’ll still work even though it’s been a couple years ago?

      • Janice

Yes, it will still work. I still have $50 that I have not used since 2014. I think I’m going to redeem mine for this weekend, a few more restaurants added in my area since then.

Has anyone used restaurant.com? I’m always concerned if it’s legit and if the gift cards actually work.

    • shea

Yes they work. I’ve used them at several different restaurants in the past 5 years or so and 0 problems.

    • Joanna

I have been using Restaurant.com for 10 years. The short answer is yes, they do work. However I had several places that will not accept certificates. I would call the restaurant before going in to see if they are still accepting the certificate. (In my city, restaurants are on restaurant.com sometimes for a month and then off the next month.) Be sure to read the fine print (minimum spending amount, days exclusion, dine-in or take out, etc). I had one time where the restaurant would not accept the certificate because they claimed they told Restaurant.com to take them off the list but Restaurant.com did not.

Worst case scenario is that it does not work, you pay full price for your meal and exchange the certificate for another restaurant by going to Accounts page.

I assume the gift cards will be shipped to me ASAP? I haven’t tried any of this until now & bought a few gift cards:)

    • Joanna

You can either show the certificate from your phone or print out the certificate. Restaurant.com does not ship you anything.
