I have a question about shop your way points: I bought two deals last month, the washer dryer that I was suppose to earn almost $90 from and the Hamilton beach mixer thing that I was supposed to get $20 from. I only got $68 worth of points and don’t understand why I didn’t get the rest. Will I get it after I spend the $68?

    Thanks for your response!

Hi, from my experience, if you used some points to partially pay for your items, you only get points back for your OOP cost.

From my experience you should’ve gotten them. But I know for a fact that this program often promises one thing and then gives you another. I don’t trust them and I don’t shop there. Try calling their customer service and see if they will issue you the difference.

you only get back what you actually paid. when you use points to pay, it reduces the amount the you get back. For purchases where points earned are the actual price of the merchandise, I try to pay out of pocket unless they are surprise points (which are given to me) then I’d pay using the surprise points and then pay out of pocket for the rest. I get back what I paid out of pocket which is fine with me since the surprise points were given to me and can be considered up front reimbursement 🙂

Just an FYI, you can’t “roll” points with this deal. You have to use cash out of pocket to get the points. I was able to “roll” with the craftman flashlights, but not with the PJs or this.

      Thanks for sharing Sara!

I use points all the time and still get full points earned

    • sara

how??? i just put this in my cart and tried to use one dollar less in points than what it cost so they would roll and it wouldn’t work. It brought the “points you will earn” down to one dollar

Same thing happened with flashlights I used points and paid nothing but didn’t get the new points. So that was a waste.

      • Demi Miller

With the flashlights I was able to use points for all but $2 (I bought 11) and got back more points than I spent. But, when I tried to pay completely with points I would get none back.

TY. I was in Sears and I ordered from my phone and picked it up free because I had points to roll 🙂

    • sara

      how did you roll?

      • Lyn

        They didn’t roll 🙁

I got a notice saying I have $15 in free rewards points, but no matter what I do, they don’t show up when I try to make a purchase. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. 🙁

Thanks. I just snagged one. I saw another football team mom using one of these filled with cold water to spray down the boys during the summer games and practices.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Oh cool! YW!

When you click on the points details when checking out it tells me that my points will be rewarded on December 13th.

So are there some deals that you can roll points on but others that you can’t? I’m new to the SYW system.
