I highly recommend this movie! (We already bought, so we don’t need to rent!). It’s a lovely film about family and love that is appropriate and enjoyable for any age.

This movie was so weird. I don’t think it was just something I did or a wrong setting but the movie has no words, as in nothing talks! My son lost interest very quickly.

Hahahah thanks for the heads up! I got this from the library but didn’t get around to watching it.
It is not supposed to have words. Just sounds. The show and the movie are done without words from the animals’ perspective, but if you watch it, it is very clear what the animals and the people are thinking and “saying”. I and my family never get tired of the show. It is absolutely delightful and sweet.
I agree! It may have been ok as a short film (5 minutes) but after about 15 minutes my husband, kids, and I lost interest.
my family loved it! like the poster said above, you totally know by their sounds and movements what they’re thinking and saying. maybe you need to try out the made for tv version(15-20 min at a time) to get your family hooked:) its great clean fun. after the movie finished(I hadn’t been watching) my hubby asked me to buy it! well written; great story; and well made. my 3 yr old & 7 yr old both loved watching the extras at the end where they show how they make it too. the entire thing is Claymation and props, every movement in the movie is a movement of the prop…pretty amazing.

My kids ages 5 and 6 Loved this movie! They laughed through out the whole movie. Yes, there are no words, which does take some getting used to, but it is a great family film where you don’t have to worry about inappropriate language or actions. My little 2 have a contagious laugh, so everyone was laughing through out this movie,teenagers and parents to! If you like clean humor, this is a good one.
Husband and I took our daughter, age 2, along with friends and their daughter of the same age a few weeks back. The girls loved it and watched the entire film! I first watched “Shaun der Schaf” as an au pair in Germany and thought it was cute…my husband was not really interested and never liked it. I convinced him to come along to the cinema. He enjoyed the movie so much that he now chooses to watch the shorts! It’s a win in our family!
