They are super awesome!!! its amazing how much it will change your life and make everything easier. I don’t look at my phone as much so I feel like I am not being “that person”. Don’t let your husband tell you what you want. You do you.

I have one and I have to say that I don’t think it’s worth it. It’s really mainly a notification device and a slight activity tracker. It sends you notifications from you phone but you cannot type a message back (only dictate/send voice clip) or choose from canned asnwers like yes/no/ok. If you’re in a place where you can’t talk then you can’t respond back to most messages. I find my watch just causing me to pick up my phone. I’d call it an activity tracker and not a fitness watch. It does steps and estimates your “move” (calories burned through excercise), Exercise (minutes) and Stand (hours where you stood at least 1 hr). It does NOT do true GPS tracking. I”m a runner and I thought it might be a good substitute for my GPS watch. The Apple Watch requires your phone to do true GPS and even then does not provide a map of your workouts like a GPS watch or phone app would. If you dn’t take your phone it can still work but I”ve found it to drastically overestimate my pace and distance. I have a garmin GPS watch that is much more well suited to running. Garmin makes devices for other activities as well.
Also remember it doesn’t do much without the phone. So if your phone doesn’t have a good signal or you don’t have your phone you are left with a watch/activity tracker and that’s about it.
The Apple Watch has a lot of potential but it’s not there yet.
^^agree^^ The Apple Watch isn’t there yet. Once it can work independently from the phone it will be worth buying. Right now I would consider it a phone accessory.

I never wanted one but my husband got me one and I absolutely love it. It is so nice, it gives you the freedom of not having to carry your phone in your hand all the time and I run and workout alot so I use it all the time to track my workouts. I love it.
Got this for 399 or 349 at best buy during Black Friday…. Can you get the difference back if you have the receipt?
At most stores the price adjustment period is 2 weeks or less.

Agreed. I have the smaller face and my husband the bigger. We tried each other’s on once and they just looked silly.
Best feature on the watch?…Wallet and apple pay! I have had my watch since April and love it! It is definitely not something I needed but certainly happy I have. I have used it numerous times at airport check in and it works great. I am sure this is not the case for everyone as I have been told ‘hey, that’s the first one!’ on more than one occasion. If you need to slide your wrist into a scanner and have a larger wrist, this will not work for you. I love this watch and this is one thing I didn’t mind paying full price for. Again, it was not something I needed, but rarely items like this are.

Does anyone know Apple’s policy? I’m so angry. My husband and I bought them for full price at the Apple Store last weekend. We live 2.5 hours away, so it’s not an easy return. I’m wondering if they will price match?
They won’t price match, but you have 30 days to return it.
Does anyone have any comments on this one verses the Fitbit Surge? I want one with a GPS. I am a runner too and am confused on which one would be the best for that.

My coworker just got the apple watch for his wife at Target. They price matched and also gave him the $100 gc with purchase of the watch! So he got it for $149! The first Target told him no, second Target, same city honored it! Good luck!!

I got one last week with the deal! Also- if you can get an “open box” it may be as little as $231. The Saran-wrap type wrapping was open on mine but the watch itself hadn’t been opened. Great deal. I’ve had it a week and LOVE IT!

I also bought two this weekend at target. Price matched to Best Buy and they gave me the 100 dollar gift card for each. Some people are having issues with stores not letting them do it but I had no problem.

I was hesitant at first, but then I told myself that if it didn’t work it didn’t work, but if it did then it was worth it!
Well I tried on the phone they said no so I went to a store and they also said no it was one or the other price match or gift card.
What did you show them
At the register I just told the guy that I needed to price match Best Buy. And I showed him the price on my phone and he rang it right up. The second one I bought at a different store and they had me go to customer service to do the price match.

Any opinions on 42mm vs 38mm for women?
The 42 mm has a slightly longer battery life, but I think the 38 looks better on my medium sized wrists. I think it’s personal preference.
I went with the 42, isn’t a huge difference in my opinion. I love it!
Just left target. They would only let me buy 1 style per person (they had 2 styles in stock & there were 2 of us). they would also only price match 1 per person. Anyway, ended up doing price match on 2, gift card promo on 2. They also said they couldn’t do price match & gift card on them – one or other.
I also price matched at target and got the 100 gift card. Check around if yours says no to both, I got mine about an hour away and they had no problem! My locals stores said no to both. They’d price match but not give the gift card, as did customer service. The target I went to was in a different “district”
