Yesterday I went through the coupons in the data base here (thank you for always working so hard) and printed them out. I took them to my neighborhood grocery store and they wont accept printed coupons. This was my first time trying to use those. What am I doing wrong?

Can you check the stores coupons policy? Usually it will say if they take printed internet coupons.

Thank you, I assumed they would just take them. I’ll check first next time.

you’re not doing anything wrong. many stores these days won’t accept printed internet coupon for free of fraud.
i have found more and more stores not accepting them also.
it’s the times we live in. too much counterfeit, duplicate printed coupons.
i’ve been couponing for 41 years now and it’s getting harder and harder to redeem coupons, even if a coupon is sent directly from a manufacturer.
what i do is not give up, try another cashier or another store that has the same sale.
stores have the right to refuse any coupons these days.

I feel so much better, I appreciate that you took the time to answer my question. Is it safe to assume Walmart takes them since they have their own to also print out?

      • annie

they should. but again, it depends on the flakey cashier, manager, the time of day, the way the winds blows, if the cashier is moody. lol
really, it’s a crap shoot these days, with coupons. don’t give up.
sometimes one has to call a manager over and explain, their coupon policy. you’d be surprised how many stores, don’t know their own coupon policy.
