Just add qualifying items to your cart and checkout. On one of the checkout pages before you finalize everything, the very top box will ask if you want to redeem/use your points. Then just click on redeem/use points and voila! It should take off whatever amount of surprise points you had.

It is a rewards program where you can earn points, offers special coupons and even play games to grab points. You can shop with the points by redeeming them! You can sign up through the link above if you are not yet a member. Hope that helps!

I got an email stating I have $11.62 as a balance in points and “get $10 back in points when you redeem your points and spend $15 or more”. When I add things to my cart on the app and have that coupon clipped no where does it confirm I will get the $10 back in points. Has anyone ever done something like this for points before? Do I need to spend $15 before redeeming my $11.62 in points balance or do I need to spend $15 on top of redeeming my $11.62 point balance? The “details” on the email are very vague.
That’s what confuses me… When I use a coupon and stuff things change and numbers go different so I’m not sure how it works
Usually on those offers you have to spend at least $15 of your own money before adding on any points.
I had this offer today. I had $20 in points, $5 in surprise points. I added a twin comforter to my cart I then applied the coupon for the $10 back and a 15% off home item coupon. It showed both were applied but in the you’ll get back x amount of points area it showed I’d get 1 point back. I decided to do it anyway as I was only paying 10 cents out of pocket. After I checked out it did say Congratulations you earned $10 in points. It appeared in my account a few hours later.

I tried to order the nightgowns the other day and used my $10.77 in points. They canceled my order and didn’t refund my points yet! Every time I try to use my surprise points they don’t work!! 🙁

I’ve never had trouble redeeming any surprise points. Are you adding qualifying items to your cart? There are some exclusions and almost all surprise points have to be used on merchandise sold by Kmart or Sears, and they have a button for you to filter out the 3rd party merchandise to make it easier.
Where is the butto to filter out 3rd party sellers? This would help me greatly but I cannot find it.
I got an email earlier this week stating get $10 back in rewards with a $10 or more purchase of featured reward brands (Starbucks, Melissa & Doug, etc). Can I buy $10 of these using my points and get $10 back? Also it doesn’t specify a “seller”…. So does “Melissa & Doug” need to be the seller or could I get a Melissa & Doug item with “Sears.com” as the seller? This system is so confusing.

Went to Sears today & got: 3x dishcloth sets, 1x Jr sleepwear boot, 1x pump handsoap = only paid $3 (after using an additional $1.50 sweeps!) I got 7 on clothing but had the hardest time finding something to qualify and usually don’t have an issue with this. Went ahead with my order anyway and was told I would get 10 dollars in points. Even on the confirmation page. Though in my e-mail it says I earned 0 points. Didn’t even get to use surprise points. Same type of thing happened a week and a half ago with a bigger order was told I would get 20 dollars in points on the 14th and received none! Hope all of your luck is better than mine this holiday season!

It can be a pain to redeem points but with everything you have to have a plan , so here goes.. If your SYW says”
$ X DOLLAR AMOUNT at Kmart – Go to the Kmart.com site. Look at the exact things the coupon states,, for example $7 off women’s clothing – please note you have to choose – clothing made by Kmart and two , You have to choose something over $7 so It won’t work on $6.99 or items made by SEARS you have to filter thru what the coupon states… and the Same requirements for Sears SYW points!…..Once you figure out these two things it’s always easy to find things, However:::: if your SYW is not item specific then go ahead and get anything you want.. baby clothing, women’s clothing, etc ,,,I think the fine print excludes items such at groceries. etc..HTH .. Have a peaceful and wonderful Holidays everyone.. 🙂

Boo, no new ones today. Have had some pretty nice ones the past couple of months though. Used a $20/$25 last night on a medium box of nearly 500 Legos- snagged it for $9 after the coupon and paid in other points.

I honestly have lost track of all the surprise points I’ve gotten and taken advantage of over the last couple of months! 😛 I mostly got points for women’s clothing and have managed to get so many pieces for myself and a few other family members who are coming to visit us this winter. 🙂

I’m a little peeved. In the last 4 months I’ve purchased a stove, microwave oven, dishwasher, mattress set and a $300 garbage disposal from Sears. Ive gotten surprise points totaling about $25.00. And yes my SYW number was linked to all of these purchases.

I didn’t get the $5 one, but a couple days ago they gave me an $8 off $8 or more kids’ outerwear at Sears deal. I also bought 4 pairs of pajamas last week, so I got over $50 in points that I “need” to use up in the next 2 weeks. I think I’ll use some at Kmart this week for last minute stocking savers, and save some to use the week after Christmas, hopefully combined with Christmas clearance. 🙂
