I got the regular men’s and women’s. They both rang up to $9.99 but the coupon in the ad wouldn’t take the $4 off. Cashier said that they must be the same as the picture. She said a lady came in yesterday and had the same issue and the manage didn’t override because it wasn’t the same as pictured. She called the manager that was there over and she took the other $4 off. She started telling me the same thing but I pointed out that it doesn’t specify silver on the description. So YMMV on this unless you are looking to buying the silver. This is the 1st time I’ve had an issue with Walgreens.
I had the same problem. Tried getting two different kinds, one of the regular and one burst chews that fit the count on the in ad coupon. It wouldn’t scan. The cashier said it must only work on the silver. I left without purchasing anything.
i bought the silver & the $4 wouldn’t come off. after debating (politely) with the cashier, he agreed to “give it to me.”
My Walgreens didn’t take the in-ad coupon with manufacturer coupon… I was buying men’s 120 capsule Centrum… I might try again. Any advice? I called Walgreens and they said their system is flaky.
I think Walgreens is flaky. Almost every single time, I run into problems with them when using coupons.
what do you do? if the manager doesn’t even know how to use the in ad coupon with the manufacturer coupon?
i agree. over 8 years and walgreens is flakier than ever when it comes to coupons.
between, employess who don’t know how to read a coupon and their inept cash registers, that can’t read a coupon. it’s a nightmare every time i walk in their stores. but to be honest, i always win, as i stick by my stance.
they always go by the picture, which is wrong. in couponing, you always go by the wording of the coupon.
Had same problem here. However, store manager re-rang my transaction, changing the price to 5.99 each for the two 120-capsule Centrums to bypass the store coupon, and then manually entering the $4 manufacturer coupons. I was lucky but YMMV. No 2,000 points for me, just the normal everyday points.
Couldnt prnt anything at coupons.vom if keep on asking to download the coupon printer and downloading kept saying downloading interrupted. Oh well! I think will passed on this deal.
My Walgreens rejected the deal too. Cashier said they don’t take Walgreens coupons when the item is already on sale. She also said they can only use one coupon per item. Left without purchasing 🙁
This deal wouldn’t work for me either, the in-flyer coupon wouldn’t scan and the cashier said it was because it wasn’t what was pictured. I didn’t argue, I just didn’t buy it.
