if i buy this as a gift for someone, would they be able to return/exchange it if needed? anyone know how that works?

They will not be able to return it with just the packing invoice. They will need the original email order printout and packing slip. Ulta has a horrible return policy when it comes to gifts. They will not return anything without proof.
I was able to return something using the packing slip, I purchased it myself, so the slip had pricing info, I would think at checkout you can specify that it’s a gift and they would give you a gift version that can be used for I store return/exchanges

Most of the time the prices are the same, and sometimes they will price match, but it is not their store policy.
I’m not sure what the price is in store, but ulta has always priced matched for me with their online price. ☺️

I was just at the store and can confirm all their Bed head shampoos/conditioners are 12.99 and matrix, redeem, etc are $15.99. And if purchased in the store, you get a free pump with each bottle you purchase. If ordering online, you only receive one no matter how many bottles you purchase.
