Amazon: FREE $5 Credit w/ $100 Gift Card Reload
Through December 31st, Amazon is offering up select customers a FREE $5 promotional credit when you re-load an Amazon Gift Card with a balance of $100 or more. Simply head here and click the “Click here to qualify” button, click on the “Reload Your Balance” button, add at least $100 to your Amazon Gift Card, head to checkout and you will automatically receive your $5 promotional credit.
Note that the $5 credit will be automatically added to your Gift Card Balance typically within 5 minutes of completing the order.

I thought you could only reload via credit card? Let us know if adding a GC to your balance works!
It would only allow me to do it using a credit card. There was no option for entering a gift card.

Someone once mentioned in comments on hip2save that you could add family members to your Amazon Prime account. Can anyone tell me how to do that? If so, I would really appreciate it.
I think you can add one additional adult and 4 children. I was able to do it by clicking on Your Prime tab then Your Account tab and finally your Prime Membership. Scroll down and click on the box at the bottom that says Share Your Prime Membership. Hope this helps.
You can add anyone you’d like, doesn’t have to be family members. You just need to know their name, email address and birthdate (month/day) – and I believe they have to know yours. You can share your Prime account with up to 4 people, but note it doesn’t share the benefits of TV, music, etc. — it only allows them access to Prime shipping benefits.

Got it – thanks!! I used my Chase Freedom cc to fund the reload and I believe that means I also get a 10% kickback from Chase since amazon gift cards are included in the 10% reward program, so – yay!
