Target: Select Holiday Clearance Possibly 70% Off
Target shoppers! It appears that select holiday clearance may now be ringing up at 70% off even if the signs are saying 50% off, so be sure to price check, price check, price check (may vary by region)! Check out the email and photos I received from reader Amy…
I went to Target this morning in Chicago and checked out the Christmas section. The sign stated 50% off, but the items were ringing up at 70% off! I also took advantage of the $5 when buying 4 coke products gift card promotion, the $5 off $25 storage coupon, and $15 off $50 household coupon. My total out of pocket was only $128! I saved over $180 with clearance markdowns, manufacturer coupons, Target coupons, and Cartwheel. If you factor in the gift card and rebate apps, my total is right around $100!
My haul includes: 24 Mega rolls of toilet paper, 12 giant rolls of paper towels, 10 boxes of tissues, 26 cans of soda, 6 Glade candles, over 100 paper plates, a Christmas serving platter, tons of gift card holders, gift wrap, gift bags, two 66 quart storage bins, 2 decorative storage bins and Christmas cards. The items I was most excited to find were an outdoor 3-outlet darkness-sensing timer (reg. $14.99, now $4.49), a 3-pack indoor wireless remote system (reg. $19.99, now $5.99), and a 6 ft, 3-outlet indoor extension cord (reg, $1.59, now $0.47).

I’m in Woodbridge, there wasn’t much left, even at the 50%. Manager told me everything was going to salvage on the 5th.
I’m in woodbridge too! Small world, that target off pw parkway didn’t have much left on Christmas eve so i haven’t even tried after Christmas :/

The Clifton target? I live in the area too! Haven’t been over there yet. Toms river had merchandise but honestly seemed like they ordered much less then last year.

Must be a VA thing….:I’m in Winchester and we had a lot less than last year too! Very low in stock even prior to Xmas. Sad about this that some stores are out BEFORE the holiday! NC stores had a lot more in comparison.
Northern VA still has a pretty good selection. I haven’t chevked this year, but I remeber the Falls Church one still had plenty of stuff every holiday this year up to 90% off. Chantilly is pretty empty, just wrapping paper left.

I scanned the Puffs today, and it clearly had Christmas ornaments and trees on it, and it wasn’t on sale for some reason. My Target is still 30% for food and 50% off for Christmas items (decor, cards, etc).
That’s odd. My target had the 2pk puffs for $1.49, I didn’t think the clearance items varied by region.
I didn’t think clearance varied either. We have a north and south store in anchorage. I found an awesome red berry wreath for $9 at one. The same wreath was $15 at the other the next day. Not sure why. This wasn’t holiday, winter themed home decor.

still 50% off nonfood/30% off food items at my target in middletown (monmouth county), nj. not complaining though, because there was a lot left! tons of sweets, although i didn’t buy any since we have so many goodies left over from christmas. i did get some cute gift tags and some tissue paper for .75! and i took advantage of the cartwheel coupons for clearance toys (re-stocked my kids bday present bin) and clearance clothes (got my son some sweatpants in the next size up). all in all, a successful target trip!

🤗 hi NLR! Thanks for saving me the trip! Holding out for 70% hobby lobby on JFK went to 80% off and I got an incredible artificial Christmas tree for $40 plus he lights for $1 (50ct indoor/outdoor) and a ton of other deals on Christmas decor!

Hattiesburg, MS was marked at 50% off, but my cashier took an additional 30% off at the register! I posted about it on Facebook and a friend went to the same store and her cashier gave her an additional 70% off!
Edmond, OK is still at 50% & 30% on food items. I miss the good ol days when things went quickly to 90% but good for target getting their inventory figured out & maximizing what they get for the items

I agree that Target’s trying to squeeze every penny from their Christmas items. Our Target is at 50% and not much left. Tape and Christmas music, which were both marked down with Christmas items last year, are still full price. Sad. But maybe if Target decreases the deep discounts I’ll be able to break my addiction. 🙂
I went to my Target store in Denver, and it’s still 50% off. I checked at the price checker to make sure. They had a ton of stuff still left, so I’m going to try again tomorrow.

Agreed! I am in Chicago area also and Niles and Evanston are both still at 50/30 today 🙁 I am bummed, these Target Christmas clearances aren’t as good as what they used to be.
Went in to my Owasso, OK store this morning and they were still at 50/30! Ugh. Another day tomorrow of getting up early to check.
