no, not at all.
I bought a Shark to use while my Dyson was being fixed…. I promptly called the repair shop and told them to keep it. LOVE my Shark… Even my cleaning lady prefers it and now brings one with her to home that don’t have one. Best vacuum ever! (I don’t like the swivel one, just the regular one).

Thanks Brandi for the feedback! My Dyson Animal has been irritating me lately, the wheel has come loose … for the third time! and I’ve been thinking of getting a Shark.
I have the one from sams and I am in love. I used to vacuum with my old vac everyday and considered my home pretty clean. I used the shark as soon as we got it and it looked like I hadn’t cleaned in forever. The suction on that thing is awesome. We also had a kitten at the time and had an issue with fleas and I think the shark is what helped get rid of them too.

I had a dyson pet (purple ball) for 4 or so years and hated it! It would bounce things around in my high pile carpet. A few months ago when collin posted a deal for the white lift off shark, i snatched it up. I love it! It actually picks up everything on my carpet and the carpet looks vacuumed when I’m done. It does have a longer cord than my dyson did, a smaller path head which is one downfall and when i use the hose it tends to tip. But i prefer it over the dyson! Hth! I figure if it only lasts a year or two it was worth the $100!

I clean two large building and use shark vacuums in both…and they are wonderful!! For a while we had a Dyson and a shark and the Shark was much better in my opinion. It was lighter and navigated more easily and the suction stayed strong (we’ve had one shark for a few year now and it is just as good the day I took it out of the box). I just ordered this deal for my home vacuum! Thank you so much for posting this!!

I love my sharks. Only issue I have is the roller. You can not remove it to clean it. My hair gets wrapped around it and I have to cut it out. However, it works great
I have the same issue – very annoying! Seems like once every couple of months I have to cut out the hair. I do love how well it cleans though.
I literally was just sitting down cutting my hair out of my shark earlier this am. Lol

I was just looking at that as well. Saw its $128 on Amazon. I ended up just doing SAMs because it came to $125 total, which included tax, shipping and the 10% non member fee. Still not bad and didn’t have to deal with the hassle of pricing matching but good luck!
I have a suggestion for those that like to use the wand to clean up high. I suggest you get the Shark Rotator XL ($120 at Sams Club). It has a extra long wand plus better accessories. I love my shark but I hate the tools. I tried to get tools from the XL line but they aren’t capable. 🙁
You can vacuum your rugs/carpets that you think are clean and pull out a ton of dirt. I vacuumed with my old vacuum first, then ran the shark over it when I first got it. It picked up sooo much that I was in disbelief.
No better vacuum for pet owners either. It picks up so much pet hair. Another great feature is the auto floor height adjuster. It will vacuum light cotton rugs beautifully with out sucking them up into the roller like my other vacuums always did.
For those that like to use the wand, I recommend the Rotator XL. Its $120 right now at Sams. Much longer extender wand and much better accessory tools.
I have the bagless Shark and i love it to death!! I can literally vacuum under my 2 mo. Old and my two year old who used to be terrified of vacuums doesn’t flinch! Suction is amazing and its so light and easy to maneuver. Everyone in my family who has used one went and bought one!
I throw stuff down on my floors just so I can use my Shark. Love it!

Thanks! My Dyson literally went out just the other day and after calling customer service and my warranty just ending….( of course) they said it could be $100 or so to fix. This solves my problem and everyone on here seems to say it is better than Dyson! Excited and exactly what I needed!! I haven’t been able to vacuum since last week and I am having withdrawals… Can’t wait to get my new vacuum and clean!! 😀

My parents gave me a Shark Rocket for Christmas and I love it! Since getting a German Shepard 3 years ago, we’ve been thru 3 vacuums with all the hair. We recently put down woods flooring in the living room & this Shark picks all of the hair & dirt up, it even has a changing head to use a “wet cleaner” it’s amazing-I wish I got one sooner!

I think I have the one from Sam’s Club (bought it around Black Friday). I love it! I am in an apt, and the carpet is a little over 7 years old. The suction power actually leaves vacuum marks in my older carpet! This one is much smaller than my previous vacuum, and I wasn’t sure it would do the job. But it works great, and I’ve found that the smaller size and the swivel allows me to get into smaller spaces much easier. The only downside is that when using the hose attachment, the vacuum falls over easily (i.e. vacuuming the sofa and loveseat). But with the great performance of the vacuum, I can tolerate this occasional annoyance.
I have had mine for a couple of years. Fantastic suction. I use a seam ripper to cut out the hair regularly but glad to do so. Best vacuum ever.
