  1. Allison

Just ordered 2 pans!! Fantastic deal. Thanks a million Collin!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome Allison!

  2. Jennifer

Yay, my husband is always asking for Lodge stuff!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Perfect!

  3. Kathleen

Are these decent quality? I’ve never used cast iron before

    • Heather

Yes AND made in the USA.

    • Kim

We have 4 Lodge items and love them. I think they’ll last a lifetime, plus they’re made in the USA.

    • Heather B

Yes Lodge products are great. I have some of my own plus I inherited some from my grandmother that are about 50 yrs old and there’s no difference between them and my new ones. Just make sure that you check the Lodge website or read the insert with the product for how to clean and care for them. If you follow the manufacture guidelines you could probably pass these along to your kids or grandkids. Such a fantastic price!

  4. Carrie

Can this deal be applied to other lodge cast iron items? Was looking at a bigger cast iron skillet and it won’t work.

    • Jennifer

It has to be “on sale” at Macy’s. It won’t work on regular priced items. I just used it on the 9″ rust resistant skillet!

  5. Cindy

Once again, timing is perfect. Have been shopping for a double burner griddle/grill. I was looking at a reversible one, but was thinking reversible might not be the best thing. It seems like you would always have to clean both sides. Does anyone have an opinion on that? This double burner griddle does not reverse to a grill side.

    • jac

It probably depends on how you plan to use it. When I clean my skillets, I usually only have to rinse them with water while they’re hot. Sometimes I wipe them with a non-soapy dishcloth, and at the most, scrape them with one of these: https://www.amazon.com/Lodge-SCRAPERPK-Durable-Polycarbonate-Scrapers/dp/B0039UU9UO. I wouldn’t expect you to have to clean both sides beyond a quick rinse if you’re only making pancakes, eggs, or hashbrowns on the smooth side. On the other hand, the ridged side might take a little elbow grease if you use it for meats. FWIW, I don’t have the griddle, but I do have the grill pan with the ridges: https://www.lodgemfg.com/griddles-and-grill-pans/10-5-inch-square-cast-iron-grill-pan.asp). I rarely use it because I find it so difficult to clean.

      • Cindy

Thank you for your input. We have a (was non-stick) griddle that we need to replace. We have never had the grill pan for inside, but we use our griddle frequently. I was just considering every option out there.

    • Tracy

We have a reversible Le Creuset double burner griddle. We never use the ridge side because it is a pain to clean and just easier to use the grill. We use the flat side every weekend for pancakes and goetta. Love it! We also have a few lodge pieces that we love.

  6. Paulina

Thank you so much. Ordered all 3, had plenti points and paid $44.50… what a deal!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Super great deal Paulina! YW!

  7. riss

Ordered the skillet using the card from a gift I returned. Something I really like and I will use😊

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Sweet!

  8. Karina

I just ordered 2. We love Lodge products. They’re the best and will last a life time. Thanks Collin for what you do.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You’re welcome Karina! Thanks for your feedback!

  9. Pumpkinjr99

Can you use these on glass top cooktops?

    • Cassandane

That’s just what I was going to ask! Someday I’ll have a gas range, but for now I’m stuck w glass top…

    • Jennifer

My mom has a few Lodge items, and she uses them all the time on her glass cook top. Just use caution not up drop or drag them on the glass!

      • Pumpkinjr99

        Thanks!

    • Heather J

Yes! I have 3 cast iron skillets and use at least one every day, and my range is glass top. Love them!

    • JaxJay

According to Lodge on their facebook page they use cast iron in their test kitchen every day but are careful not to slide it or drop it on the glass.. hope this helps.

    • Heather B

Yes you can use them on glass tops but like the previous reader mentioned just don’t drop them on the cooktop or drag them otherwise you’ll damage your cooktop

  10. Jennifer

I bought that exact grill pan with a silicone handle sleeve for only $9.97 at Costco right before Christmas! I should’ve bought more and saved them as gifts!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Great buy Jennifer!

    • Jennifer

The 12 one is not sold in this sale at Macys (don’t know if they have it in general- but that walmart price is great). The other one- the one from macys is 11 inch. the walmart one is smaller and more expensive. Same brand though

    • Barb

I think the Macy’s cast iron is a new line that is supposed to be more rust resistant, not sure about the Walmart one. I saw it on youtube, hope that helps. Thanks Collin I picked up two. 🙂

  11. Beth

Thank you ! I have been wanting to try cast iron !

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome Beth!

  12. Chanel

My order was just cancelled. Bummer.

    • jenn

      What did you order?

      • Chanel

The rust resistant 11″ grill pan.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh darn. Sorry to hear that 🙁

  13. Ashlyn

Thanks, Collin! I snagged a 9 inch skillet for 10.80 plus tax with free in store pick up 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      YW!

  14. SeeBeeShop

AWESOME deal! Lodge is The only brand of cast iron that we use! Thank you!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Cool! You are so welcome!

  15. whitehl

Don’t forget ShopAtHome for 6% cash back!

  16. Tatyana

What’s the trick to keep those pans rust free? I had one, and thought I took a great care of it, but it turned rusty 🙁

    • MommaNguyen

Oil, oil, and more oil! Haha. Don’t use soap on them. Season well before use even if it’s pre seasoned. Coat a layer of oil after EVERY use and wipe excess with a paper towel.

      • Tatyana

        thank you!

  17. Heather B

Just ordered the two burner griddle and the grill pan for $40.28! I’m so excited, I had these on my Christmas list. Thanks Collin!

    • Cindy

That is what I got! Yay! I already got a shipment notice. I ordered a burt’s bees beauty item to get free shipping too!

  18. The Deal

The deal may still work even after 6 PM EST. I applied the code afterwards and it worked.

  19. mel

Thanks! Ordered the 11 inch skillet and OPI Nail Corrector pen ($7.95) to qualify for free shipping. Not bad for $23.87 (w/tax). And I got 503 Plenti Points (3 pts for the order and 500 bonus for my first Macy’s purchase)

  20. jenn

I just got my order (the 2 11in items) and the quality is terrible! Not like any other lodge items we have ever gotten. They are so scratched and scuffed. Hubby and i are trying to decide if we want to season and see how they turn out since they were “cheap” or return. Boo so upsetting.

  21. Barb

I just received my two pans today (11″ and 9″) and they are perfect quality, I can’t wait to season them and make a pan pizza and an apple cobbler. I’m so excited because they are so nice, I can’t believe they were so cheap. So sorry to the poster above who got scratched ones, maybe after you season them the scratches & scuffs will buff out.
