Question….I used the cartwheel for Old El Paso last week, and there’s now a check mark on it. Can I use it again? Thanks.
Yes, I am pretty sure this is a new Cartwheel for the week. It can be used up to 4 times and is valid until 2/13. Hope that helps! 🙂
hi, the check mark just means you selected it from the offers list. hth😉
There are 2 savingstar rebates on the old el paso items.
Your videos are so AWESOME !!!! Thank you!
You’re welcome! 🙂 Thanks for the kind words.
Someone should get target a try hoho!!!love love <3 <3 thumbs-up
I was informed at my target that if a coupon does not scan Target can no longer except these coupons. Has anyone else run into this problem?
No. It always beeps on free item coupons or buy 1 get 1 free because they are up to a certain amount so the system wants the cashier to put in the amount rather than just accept the maximum. But it’s in their policy that they can deny any coupon.
i finally see some people while you shopping at your target because always look like is empty, lucky you! my target is a zoo, always very crowded, in i live in a small town! sc….
Yes, I am very lucky! The Target I film at is usually pretty dead – which is really nice when you’re doing couponing videos! 😉
Collin,
Can you or your readers give any tips on how to best organize your items, cartwheel, coupons, and such when you actually check out? I find I get so flustered at the checkout that I forget something or have miscounted as I went and am all off when I hit the checkout, especially when you have to buy a certain number of items to earn the discount.
I take screen shots of my cartwheel barcode and my different target mobile coupon barcodes. That way I just have to swipe to the next picture instead of opening my cartwheel and opening each text coupon. Otherwise, sometimes the wifi is slow or I forget to use some of the mobile coupons and it can get frustrating.
Same problem with me :-() a big mess always!!!cashiers and customers must be hating me!!
First, I make a list of everything I’m after with quantities. At the button of my list I write down everything I need scanned at checkout (coupons, mobile coupons, cartwheel, etc.). Then I put my physical coupons in the same order as my list into an envelope. I also do the same thing as Elizabeth and take screenshots of mobile coupon and cartwheel barcodes so they are easy to scroll through and remember to use all of them. Then you don’t have to worry about slow wifi. I used to write down prices of everything before and after coupons but that became too confusing at checkout. Now I just write what my total should be with tax. And I always check my receipt before leaving.
How do you take screen shot?
TY
It varies depending on phone. I have an android samsung and lay the edge of my hand on the left side of my screen and slide it across to the right.
I have a Samsung and never knew you could do a screen shot like that. I tried it now and that’s Pretty Cool!!
Depending on your phone it’s different on each. The best thing to do is Google your type of phone and then asked the question “how to do a screenshot?” and you should find an answer on the forum or somewhere pretty easily. 🙂
I rarely use my phone for my cartwheel. I have a printed copy from 2014. Your barcode never changes so any new offers you add are still attached to that barcode. If I have mobile coupons I usually pull them up on my phone before I get in line and check to make sure they are there before checking out. I try to give these first so if there is a problem, the cashier can scan my paper coupons while I try to fix it. I always have trouble with electronic gift cards, so I pull them up on my phone before going into the store and have customer service put them on a physical gift card for me.
Good tips!!
Cartwheel barcode never changes, just keep a picture of it on your phone. If your phone makes collages or get an app, make one of all the barcodes – mobile offers, Cartwheel- then they can just scan from the picture. Cartwheel also has a website, so can just print it.
Egift cards, I use the mobile website, don’t need the app, and just take a screenshot of the barcode. They scan the picture, never had a problem.
I take out my coupons and put them in the cart in one spot with my items. Then after I empty my cart at checkout my coupons are there waiting for me. Then I whip out my phone for the coupons that have been screen shot.
I printed out a copy of my Cartwheel barcode on cardstock and keep it with my Target Redcard. That way I never forget to use it!
Thanks so much for the videos Colin! I had to laugh when someone asked me if I shop at Target every week and I said, “Nope, just the weeks Hip2Save posts Target videos! I am curious if Target makes more money the weeks you post videos? You should get a cut 😉
LOL… you are too funny, Julie! Thanks so much for giving me a laugh and for the kind words! I sure appreciate it! 😀
Thank you for all your hard work sharing deals with us, America appreciates it!
Collin, are those cup holders on your shopping cart? I love them!!!
Hi Ana,
Yes, they are cup holders. My Target has a Starbucks inside and I think most Target locations that do offer these cup holders. 🙂
You are SO welcome, Noel!
I’m planning to go deal shopping at Target for the first time this weekend and have question. On the Cartwheel offers, it say “Limit of 1 Cartwheel barcode per transaction, and 6 Cartwheel barcode transactions per day.
My question is.. the app allows you to add 12 offers at a time, but am I understanding correctly that you can only use 6 of them during your shopping trip that day?
cartwheel offers vary in terms of number, like when i first started it was less than 10 offers i think, then as i use it more often, they unlock more items, like now i have 23 offers available to select. if i understand it correctly, you can do 4 items per transaction, 6 transactions a day. items in multiples above 4 won’t aplly cartwheel.
the cartwheel barcode is consistent, 1 per customer/phone
Thank you. If it says a limit of 6 transactions per day, does that mean 6 trans for that one item (meaning i can check out 6 times for that one item with up to 4 items each time), or does it mean i can only use 6 total trans per day for different items that are loaded to my app? Does that make sense?
You can use all you’re cartwheel offers 6 times per day. 🙂 So you could buy 24 of the same item per day and receive the cartwheel discount.
Thank you!
Hi how do I get the text and the number in a product?
Who has used the up & up diaper brand? How do they compare to pampers? I have a 3 month old so we’re new to this. Thanks!
Natasha,
I love the up&up brand. Never had any issues with leakage or rashes. We use them for overnights too. Great brand. Definitely should try them!
I really like this brand. I’ve used it for two kids so far and have already stocked up for my third due next month. At first I used pampers with my first baby, but I had bought Up & Up brand on a good deal and I found they worked just as well. Also, I could get better deals on them so I switched. All other store brands I had tried gave my baby bad rashes. I’ve also been very pleased with the Up & Up wipes too!
Love your videos!!!! Thanks for all your hard work finding the best deals for us😬
How abt this? up & up Aloe Vera Moisturizing Hand Soap Refill – 64 oz -> $4.26 + ONE 7.5oz hand soap .79cents => 5.05 – 1$coupon => 4.05 where you get 64+7.5oz i.e 71.5oz instead of above scenario which is 7.5*7=> 52.5oz for $4.37 Just trying to be HIP here! Of-course, Thanks for teaching all this Collin.. you rock! 😀
Collin thank you so much for this video! We went to Target today and grabbed half of these deals. As I put the Old El Paso products in the cart I turned to my husband and said, “Collin says we should have taco night this week!”
😀
Isn’t there a mobile coupon for $1 off $5 of Archer Farms which could be used along with the 50% off Cartwheel for the AF sauces?
The Big bottles of Soap are only $4.26 for 64oz. So you can get 71.5 oz vs 52.5. Purchasing 1 big bottle 64OZ and (1) .79 Cent bottle 7.5 oz.
$5.05 before Coupons and cartwheel, Don’t forget your .05 cents off for your reusable bag, and 5% for target card.
Does anyone know what products qualify for a Target coupon that reads “with purchase of two up & up cotton items”?
Is there any way that I can print without having to print the video screen shot? There are red x’s next to everything else so that I can pick what to delete, but the video won’t delete. Any tips?
Has anyone tried the up & up diaper deal? Just wondering if the coupons worked. Target’s policy says, one manufacturer coupon , one Target coupon (mobile OR paper), and one Cartwheel℠ offer can be combined per item (unless otherwise noted on coupon). The diaper deal says to use both printed Target coupon and Target mobile coupon. Appreciate your help/answer in advance!
How do you print coupon for the Sweet Baby Ray coupon a shared and like but can’t figure how to print.
