Denise, I do not have this specific one, but have gone through 2 Hoover PowerScrubbers in the past, not because they’ve been defective, but simply because we LOVED it so much through over-using it! We have one puppy, who every now and again would have an accident when she was little and/or get a little upset tummy. We totally loved the first one we had and had to get a second Hoover PowerScrubber about 2 years ago. Totally love it though. We like the versatility of it and, of course, how effective it is at cleaning. Just my 2 (or 3) cents worth!

It says it has the hand tool, but I don’t see it in the picture. Does it have the capability to clean an upholstered chair?
I have it, it works great. It has a rinse feature so after you wash the carpet you turn the knob and only water comes out.

I have one and love it. Had a Bissell before and wish had discovered the Hoover first!!! Don’t hesitate buying it, you won’t be disappointed.
I have had one for about a year. No pets but 4 kids. Tons of stains on carpet. It does a great job. Even better if you use just hot water, vinegar and a little dish soap … No need to rinse that way.
It’s easy to empty too. The tank will clean a bed room before you have to empty. Our living room I had to empty and refill 3 times. Also works better than shop vac at sucking up big water mess if you have a leak or something

is this better than having a small hand held one? Would it be good just for cleaning of the carpet for bigger areas? I have a bissel hand held one but was thinking of getting this one to clean the whole house, especially since we will be moving alot.

Thanks for posting this! Im a new home owner and have been thinking about a carpet cleaner for a while and this is great price!! I didn’t quite have enough to bump up to the next Kohls cash so I added a 3$ christmas mug. (~2$ after the 30% off). There are lots of items in this price range on clearance. I’ve read the reviews on Kohl’s site and they don’t look very positive. It seems multiple people have lost suction and many more stated the brushes stopped spinning. I think I will wait on this one.

Erin, I wonder if the reviews actually had it connected properly? I know when I am absent minded and forget to hook up a connection (it does have a few), I find (eventually!), yes, there is no suction, but eventually figure it out. I do like one of the posters below stated and clean it after each and ever use. I never keep water in the reservoirs and do clean the brushes. I have never had any issues (well, if you consider over-use an issue)! Good luck in your decision.
This cleaner works well for us. No problem with suction, we always rinse it after each use, and keep the brush free of hair/lint. So far so good. Highly recommend!
