Awesome!!!! Thank you.
You’re welcome Maria!
As a reminder, the real reason they do this is to collect donations for the Children’s Miracle Network, so please leave a donation, even if its just a couple of dollars.
I agree, even if just $1. Also, tip your servers on the original dollar amount, before your free items. They work extra hard on days like these.
Yes it on the website. I’m sure the servers will make people aware of that.
Um okay?? Did something bother you by her telling people to please donate? Maybe she is an IHOP server. Food for thought. I’m not mad at you for your sarcastic response I’m fired to have to read because you felt it necessary to leave it. Have a nice night.
Not at all. It’s just in the post the reason they’re doing this and also in the site. Not assuming it’s completely free. I was a server at some point in my life so I didn’t get offended or found what I said to be sarcastic. It’s all in the tone you read it.
As a former server, those people live of their tips. Always tip your server. And if your kids are going in themselves, give them some $ for the tip. And, of course, it is for donation, at the VERY LEAST, round up to the nearest $. If you have anything else to drink or to eat,
Anyone know if this is per person? Or just one per table?
Per person!
Had a very bad experience with this last year. I got there right before it got busy about 8am and the freeloaders started piling in ordering water and only their free pancakes. I was there with my wife and 2 kids ordering 2 adult meals and just getting the free pancakes for the kids. We were sat first and ignored because all the servers were running around like crazy because it got so very busy. Watched people get their free pancakes and finish well before we received our food. It was sickening to see the servers work so hard while probably not earning very much. Anyway, we ended up being late to where we had to go and wouldnt have been if we just got free pancakes and waters.
