As I mentioned here yesterday, if you recently made a purchase on Target.com, you may have received an email from Target with an offer for a FREE Starbucks Tall Handcrafted Beverage valid for Starbucks in Target stores. The actual coupons are arriving in inboxes today and are valid through March 19th, so be sure to check your emails for the actual coupon! 😀 Sounds good to me!

I recently found a new favorite non-coffee drink at Starbucks: Steamed milk (aka a “steamer” or “creme”) w/ sugar free vanilla (could use regular), regular sprinkle of cinnamon, & regular sprinkle of nutmeg. Tastes almost exactly like my mom’s rice pudding recipe. Delicious!

I have tried to use several coupons the past year that have stated $14.95 max value and every single time, they will only take of the base cost of the drink which is around $3 to $4. My drinks are usually around $10. I usually order extra vanilla and extra espresso and they won’t take that off even though it says up to $14.95. I have even had to have managers come over and they still won’t. And then when I tell them I want whatever drink they have for that price, they say they don’t have one. Even with the buy one get one they offer, they still only take the $3 to $4 off and want me to pay $17 for 2 drinks. I ask how that is buy 1 get 1 and they just shrug and I walk away and they throw away the 2 expensive drinks instead of giving me the discount.
Have you contacted corporate to let them know?

I hope they are doing this to get more people into the stores. So many stores are closing by us and we’re losing a lot of jobs. It’s so easy for us to shop online. It worries me.
