Just a heads up, for anybody who has a Winco nearby – I picked up a 56oz jar of organic coconut oil for $10! Keep your eyes peeled. 🙂

Wow! That is a great price! What was the brand?

Costco always has two(54oz) for $25. That’s where I buy mine.

Aldi has their 14 Oz simply organic brand for $5 as well. It comes in a beautiful glass jar which is perfect for spices or to use as a cup afterwards..amazon sells mason jar sip loss lids that fit it perfectly.

One thing guy’s unrefined coconut oil is wayy better than refined.
So although this may seem like a good deal refined isn’t the greatest option.
I love coconut oil it has so many amazing benefits!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Thanks for your feedback Suzy!

Yes but the refined can be used in many more things – no coconut taste. I use the refined in baked goods and my family can’t tell the difference. The unrefined has a strong flavor and “banana” type after taste

Got it for free with my credit. Thanks.

      You’re welcome!

Is the refined oil the sweet coconut smell or is it the oily no smell type? I want the oil but the one that has the smell of coconut. And can I use this for a coconut pull rinse? Thanks

    • tropicalscents

This one has a neutral smell and it’s refined. I buy the organic virgin unrefined one at traders and it smells very coconutty. $6 at traders for 16 oz.
