    Got mine! 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Awesome! 😀

  2. april

Compared 2 the pic of Dec box I think target has a nicer one .

  3. Mandy

Target box is way better!! I canceled mine after 2 boxes because they sent me the same thing 2 times in a row. Go for Target, skip the Walmart box unless you want random coupons.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Darn! Thanks for your honest feedback Mandy!

I don’t mind trying the Walmart box but Im scared cuz I got hacked the last time I used my card on their site. 😔

    • katttro

It may not be the site, but the device you are using: Android devices, for instance, have a higher chance of having some sort of hidden malware that may be mining your information, especially if you have lots of games and other random software installed (vs Apple iOS devices that are considered very safe). I only pay my bills on my iPad, for instance, and never had a problem, but paying a bill on an android phone a few years ago resulted in stolen credit card info.

      • L.

I have had an android device for over 6 years and I have never been hacked. It has more to do with what links you click than what phone you have. A lot of people have probably been clicking on free $50 Walmart gift card emails that are fake. Also the Walmart app stores your cards without asking permission so all it takes is a dishonest person on the other end regardless of what device you use. Lock your device with a secure pin or fingerprint and don’t click links in random emails.

        • R

It can happen with IOS or Android. L is totally correct.

      • Dealzgurl

Actually, I was using my laptop. I stopped shopping at Wal-mart online years ago because I had heard of others being hacked. Saw a great price on an air mattress last year and bit the bullet. Someone in Idaho ended up with my info. So, while I see great online deals for them, I no longer buy from them and seldom go to the store.

        • Teri

I hate Walmart. I had a cashier switch my $20 bill giving me change for a ten…just thrives or incompetent. I really hate shopping there…with so many options now, why go through the hassle.

    • Bethany

I won’t shop at Walmart. My account was hacked. Thank GOD I never actually purchased anything so my credit card info wasn’t in their system. I got an email notification one day saying my email address was changed. I called Walmart, told them that I never changed the address and to cancel my account.

    • Cathy

I was hacked using their website as well and I know 100% it was that site because I had a specific card I used on there and that was the only place the card was used, it wasn’t even carried in my wallet….somebody purchased $500 worth of furniture at a Russian Ikea type store. Never had an issue with the actual Walmart site, just the beauty box site.

    • Mary

I was hacked a couple years ago. It was my walmart account, not my device that was hacked. Someone in California tried to make a purchase through my walmart account, however I took matters into my own hands and the person was arrested. (Walmart was NO help in resolving the matter or apologizing for their negligence!)
Do make sure any credit card information is never saved or stored with your account! And I will never have an online walmart account again!

    • LC

After my debit card info was stolen and used, my bank gave me a good idea that helps with online purchases. You get a checking account that you use for online purchases only. If the account is linked to you normal account you switch/transfer over only the amount of your online purchase. That way if your online debit card info is stolen/hacked they cant get your money. This is the way I make all online purchases now and even pay some bills too.

i tried these last year. they are random small samples. i also had difficulty cancelling my subscription, called a lot of times coz it was always an answering machine.

    • pandoraaddict

There’s a link to cancel within your WM beauty box account, don’t need to call 🙂

  6. Sue

Hi. Have gotten 3 Walmart beauty boxes so far. Fair contents. Mostly coupons and tiny samples. One real size product in each. I think I’ll try Targets box.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Thanks for your review Sue!

  7. Lisa

Some are better than others, true. But I love trying new products, and the samples of shampoo, conditioner and bodywash are perfect size for traveling. The sizes are perfect ounces for adding to your carry on bag when taking a trip!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

So true! Thanks for sharing Lisa!

  8. Julie

Anybody ever tried the toddler box?

    • Rachel

I tried to sign up for the baby box. I got the first one and then after several months of no box, they finally reimbursed me the $5 that’d already charged and alerted me that they’d no longer be doing baby boxes.

  9. Heather

I like the Walmart boxes for the price The products are hit or miss but I get that with every box. I agree Target boxes are better but I can’t always order a box as they sell out quick.

  10. Emulvey2001

Target’s box is way better in my opinion. If you’re going to try out Walmart’s, just be aware that you’re signing up for a subscription with their box (although you can cancel whenever) whereas Target’s box you have to buy each one individually as they come up for sale. Maybe this is obvious, but just wanted to call it out as an important distinction.

    • Kathy

How do you sign up for the Target box??

  11. Denise

I wish Target boxes were sold as a monthly subscription like Walmart boxes.

    • Bethany

      Ditto!

  12. Kathy

Still waiting to receive mine. When did they ship out??

  13. Tiffany

I just canceled my subscription. Watch something good come in the next box now that I canceled.

  14. Janie

These are all basically samples you can get for free, but now companies have figured out how to get you to pay for them. What a joke!

  15. Kim

I like the boxes personally. A nice little surprise in my mailbox. They recently came out with another beauty box called Trendsetter. I am currently subscribed to Classic (this subscription) and just now signed up for Trendsetter which is the same price. We’ll see. I’m excited to try it.

    • Shell

I very much agree with you 🙂 I don’t mind & enjoy receiving these.

    • Jennifer

Oh this sounds interesting. Ill have to look into that. Thanks for the heads up! I like getting these boxes!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Glad to hear you like them Kim!

  16. Kim

I love the Target boxes! The Walmart box doesn’t look impressive. I don’t like Walmart anyway though. I’m gonna pass on this one.

  17. Amanda

My card also got hacked from signing up for their beauty box! I canceled and have not been back and I am very leery about it anymore.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Bummer! Sorry to hear that Amanda 🙁

  18. Sandi McCarthy

Compared to Target’s the Walmart box definitely does not stack up. Rather pay a couple bucks more for the Target box.

    • Lauren :D

      They are both $5

  19. Viviana

Does anyone know when the next target beauty box comes out? I love targets beauty boxes!

  20. Tracy

I personally love the Walmart box. I’ve received some great products!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh good! Thanks for sharing Tracy!

  21. Jamie

Save your money for the Target beauty box! They are small sample sizes compared to what you get from Target. I cancelled after receiving two boxes, come to find out they still charged for the next month! Cancelling withe Walmart subscription is a pain and NOT worth the headache!!

  22. JaCinda

My December Walmart box was better than the one shown. I’m wearing the headband from it right now. I really feel I got my money’s worth, and am excited for the next one.

  23. Patricia Lavenz-Goff

I have never been hacked but after a rude cashier told me that couponers were the reason that groceries were so high and it wasn’t fair that we could get such good deals I stopped going. It wasn’t worth it. She looked at every one of my coupons like I was trying to rip her off personally. It really embarrassed me and the people in line looked like they agreed with her. I told her that everybody could coupon but most of the people in line said that normal people didn’t have time. guess I am not normal. I work 6 days a week and am raising my 3 grand kids and taking care of my two disabled brothers. Couponing is something I do because I have to stretch my dollars. LOL

  24. patti

I opened my email from walmart about my next box and they let me order another box called trendy, the current one i have on order is classic, had the trendy sent to my daughter so we can compare.

  25. Tausha

I wasn’t overly excited with the Target box this month. For a few bucks more my Allure box is a lot better. As far as the Walmart box goes for $5 I think it’s a great way to try out some new items and way worth the $5 price tag.
