How is the different from a keurig?

  2. Claudia

Is there a generic cup to use, like keyring has?

  3. Holly

It is similar to a Keurig although you can get milk pods to make foamed milk for cappuccinos, lattes, etc. You can’t buy generic pods and must use the Starbucks pods not Keurig pods for the machine. You can buy the pods at Starbucks stores, bed bath and beyond, and a few other places but not target or wal Mart.

Thanks for the helpful feedback Holly!

Does anyone have this? Does is make a better cup of coffee than the keurig?

If you are looking for a good cup of espresso then buy the Nespresso Pixie, the pods are a little pricey but they taste amazing!!! They had it dirt cheap at Buy Dig.

      Sweet! Thanks for the suggestion!

I think this machine is going in same direction as the Keurig Kold which almost nobody is buying. BB&B has it on large discount, and the Kold refills are 50% off.

I’ve had mine for two years, and I love it! The coffee and espresso is excellent. I usually stock up when I find the pods on sale. Starbucks hasn’t done themselves any favors making the pods harder to find, though.

Starbucks pods are in Giant if you have a Giant Food in your state.

Oh cool! Thanks for sharing Marie!

I have this and love it!!! You have special pods you have to buy from Starbucks but it’s delicious!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Glad to hear it Ben!

I have seen on YouTube demonstrated that you can re-use the pods by removing the old grounds, replacing with new and covering tightly with foil. I tried it once and the pod BLEW OUT the top of the machine – a little scary!! I wouldn’t try THAT again. Amazon has generic pods that are much cheaper and people claim are just as good. I would try that first before trying the refill method!
