Is this an all day event?
Not to sound like a crazy person or anything, but how do they ensure sanitary-ness during these makeovers?
I always have that concern as well!
Brush cleaners (sprays) are alcohol based, but have to sit on the brush for a few minutes to actually work. You do have to pay attention and be careful though.
I called my local store because the list of participating stores were not all showing up. FYI

I am a certified make up artist. I have gotten many products from Kohl’s and malls. I am pretty sure they will be using tools which can be thrown away after each use and cleaning makeup(and/or brushes) with alcohol which I buy at wal-mart/Target. I will place it in a spray bottom to spray my blush,eye shadows, brushes,and etc. If you have more questions about sanitary,I would call your local store to see what they do.

Hi Kitty! It appears that the Kohl’s stores that pop up, are the ones that are participating. Must be that all the ones near you are participating 🙂
What a pleasure it was to receive a make over at Kohls with Bobby!!! She is a retired make-up artist for Bobby Brown. And she is the most pleasant, respectable and a fantastic make-up artist that I ever met and can’t wait til the next event!
And it is a nice way of trying out the new line of make up at Kohls! Thank you so much!
Very nice event and I really enjoy all the make up consultants and we always have fun!
I will always recommend Kohls because they make a difference and it’s more than a make over, it’s a great experience with make up artist for Bobby Brown, and trying out the latest line of moisturizers and make up!
My store did not even knew about the event, the girl that help me was very nice but she was just talking about that she wants to work as macys and how kohls did not show her how to put make up so and so :/ not a very good experience:s
