I can’t get it to work. Just created my registry, added to cart went to check out put mamgifts and it says ‘the promotional code you entered can not be applied to your purchase’ I’ve tried several times. :/

Sucks that people who actually have newborns or babies on the way wont get to take part in this offer intended for them b/c of all the coupon vultures out there who take everything they can snag, whether they need it or not…

Well, I get that some people would do just to get something free without having a use for it. I think that’s wrong. But I pay for Prime and have a sister who is having a baby so, yes, I would do it and give it to her. And I don’t think it makes me a vulture. I’m passing on this offer because I prefer to do the other Amazon offer if it becomes available again. I’m not sure if I can do both. Still not a vulture. Besides, in the world of couponing and freebies, you win some, you lose some. That’s life.
I donate anything I can’t use that I get for free to my local women & children’s shelter.
You realize you’re following a coupon blog, Right? So you could easily be considered a “coupon vulture” as well. Like the previous reply, I have no plans to take advantage of this deal either – because I am not a new or soon to be Mom. Not all of us are “vultures”… So let’s relax a little.

Totally agree. I just created a registry a few months that ago and now I can’t take part in this. But then we have the people that create fake registries just to get free items.
You have to have prime membership for this so you’re already paying $70 to partake in it so I wouldn’t say it’s free. Even though I’m expecting a little one in sept I can’t get it because I don’t have prime.

Doesn’t work
I have had two babies while being a prime member and have never scored a free gift haha. I just had one, created her registry when they were doing the big boxes and could never figure out how to get it to work!!.

Hi,
The code wouldn’t work for me, so I called Amazon and they were able to place the order for me. I did have to place the order and pay for it but they credited the card back right. They did say they were having issues with the code. Might be worth a try calling them.

That is a good idea. I read there are some companies that offer a multiples program, and some give free stuff. I have not personally contacted any yet, though.
I have! Most of them you need to wait till they are born however babies r us gives you a 10% discount on baby gear if you buy 2 of the same item and tell them to apply multiples discount.
I started a chat with an Amazon cust service rep. He had me place the order and then applied the promotion so the cost is $0. Took about 2 minutes. {And I’m actually pregnant-due this spring ;)}
