…I don’t like this site. I have never had a good experience with them. I have tried them 3 different times, and placed 3 orders, and they are very inaccurate. A total lack of quality control. I never get the correct titles, let alone the specified condition of the book I ordered. Once they totally mispackaged, and sent me someone else’s order altogether, then couldn’t find mine – and didn’t seem to understand what the problem was; since it said it was “delivered.” Since they couldn’t find mine I had to beg for a refund, which took over a month to receive. The other orders I had were missing some titles I ordered, and ended up with titles I didn’t. Not even the correct number of books in either order. It is always a struggle with their customer service, they always seems to be missing a block or two.

Agreed! I love that they are trying to be carbon friendly, allowing less trash (books) in landfills, and support literacy worldwide. It’s a GREAT organization. I am sorry that some people have had issues, but in the numerous times that I have ordered, I have only had ONE quality issue and they took care of that for me. I agree that you should look for books that are good and very good for the best deal. A lot of the books have been discharged from one library or another. I love seeing where ours have come from!
Do you need a promo code? I have 5 in my cart (sold from Better World Books) and am at the page right before placing the order, and the 50% has not come off.
Are you shopping from the Bargain bin? Only the ones from the Bargain Bin (used) are included on the sale. If you’ve selected the right items the price will just adjust itself.

Darn! I am still finding the discount listed in my order summary when I grab 5 books from the bargain bin. Are you by chance on a mobile device?
I have ordered from them over a dozen times too. I will order from them again, but with some stipulations. I never expect that I will get every book I order; 90% of the time at least one or 2 of the books I order are actually not in stock. They don’t charge until shipping so no big deal unless you need a full set of books (which has happened to me and then I order the missing one on Amazon). I have multiple times received books that are not as described condition-wise and/or ISBN-wise. I have sent in pics and I always get my $ back. Children’s books are the most likely to be in worse than described condition – thankful my kids are on to chapter books now! However, this is a GREAT way to get books cheap without having to dig in bins at the thrift store or hope they are in stock at Half-price. Good luck!
