Are the coupons that are good on sale items still good on clearance items too? I know they used to be but it seems they changed the wording.
I have never been able to use coupons on clearance. Occasionally they will let you use a special coupon on sale items, as above.
In your last craft store post and this one you use the MAMBI planner as your image. Do you personally use this planner? I’ve been reading some reviews on Amazon but would love opinions from the H2S community.
I use it and like it so far (it’s been a few months). I am a planner newbie and didn’t want to spend a lot of money.

It is my first planner too and I didn’t love it at first, but I’m enjoying it now. I need a lot of room for writing so this one is definitely a good size. I ordered mine from Blitsy a month ago when Collin posted their 70% off sale. I paid $4.99 + $6 shipping. I probably wouldn’t pay full price on it though.
My sister works at Michael’s and can’t even apply her employee discount to clearance, so my guess is coupons are a no-go.
Don’t plan on using the coupon on the Easter sale — Easter is only 60% off in northern nj, but the coupon apparently doesn’t apply to it (even though it doesn’t specify this in the fine print)
There is always a catch with their coupons. Also in case you didn’t know there is a military and senior citizen discount ( also not combinable!)
Here is the trick to Michaels coupons and clearance/sale merchandise! I have done this dozens of times (almost everytime a coupon like this comes out). Coupons are not valid on clearance, however just because the paper sign hanging on the shelf says clearance doesn’t mean that’s how it is programmed into the computer system. If you scan at one of the price checkers it will tell you if it is clearance or just sale. When the coupon is scanned at the register, it will be deducted from everything that rings sale. My store already had Easter stuff for 70% off. Cute ramekins for 60c, muffin pan for $5 etc. I got a few sticker books for my planner for 45c ea. And I used the 20% off to get a $9.99 journal (on sale 60% off) for $3.20.
