Anyone have any opinions on the quality of these towels? Sure sounds like a good deal, but I can’t remember if this was the brand people didn’t like so much once purchased?

    • Alison

I have several of these. The quality is good enough for everyday but not as plush or luxurious as the nicer brands. They’re good though if you prefer a thinner towel. They also need to be washed quite a few times until they stop shedding lint. Overall, I would buy them again at this price.

      • tracy

They put off a lot of lint at first. They are soft enough but not absorbent.

I just got three sets as a bridal shower gift and the Burts Bees for the free shipping, spending only $28! I’m so happy! This will make the perfect gift and all for under $30~thanks for always helping me save!

      You’re welcome!

  3. Jenifer

Thanks for the input. I was wondering about the quality. ❀️

I just read the reviews on Macys. While some were good, the bad reviews were real bad. Non absorbent, lint all over your body and bathroom even after several washings, fraying after one wash and very thin. I will definitely not buy them now as everyone who disliked, had the same cons.

  5. Laura

I use these as graduation presents. I am going to have to order a couple of more sets for this year.

  6. Martha

I bought these about 1.5-2 years ago and use them regularly. They are thin and not plush, but hold up pretty well. I just re-ordered new sets for the whole family on this sale posted here so I’ll be replacing all the ones I bought 1.5-2 years ago. For the price, I’m not complaining and since I’m re- buying exact ones, I feel they’re worth buying to replace every 2 years.

Sweet! Thanks for the review Martha!

Just buy the light color ones; I bought Pink and it loses the color.

Sending my son off to college in the fall. Wanted good towels but didn’t want to spend a lot. Thanks so much Collin!!

You’re so welcome! Glad you could snag the deal!

Martha Stewart’s Quick Dry towels are around the same price (bath towel is 80 cent more but hand towel and washcloth are same sale price as TH) and have great reviews if that helps anyone concerned about the negative reviews. I grabbed some for a wedding gift and got the Burt’s Bees lip balm for $3.30 to get the free shipping πŸ™‚

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Great find Mel! Thanks for the heads up!

I work at Macy’s. I like these towels, and I have never had a lint problem. I prefer the washcloth since they are thin (like to make sure my makeup comes off at night) this a great price.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Thanks for the great feedback!

I feel like the only towels absorbent enough for my taste are the ones I thankfully have had since around 1999, some even older than that! I have touched & tried every dang towel I see in stores, & none seem to feel or function anything near what I’m looking for. I hate that they just don’t seem to make towels that are really great at their main job (absorbing) like they used to! Not even any of the luxury towels seem to be what I’m looking for. all I know is I’m so glad to still have the old towels that I do!

I was able to apply a code for an additional 20% off sale prices! Use code XV45L2.

Thanks for the post, Collin. I was in desperate need of new towels πŸ™‚

I just looked at the details and it discounted 15%. Sorry!

I used it on the Martha Stewart towels. I don’t know if it will work on the TH ones.
