I’m 26 years old and STILL have this cash register from third grade. It still works just fine and I plan to give it to my son. My whole family uses it for garage sales! I absolutely love this! Made me so happy to see it this morning!
That’s awesome! Thanks for sharing!
My daughter has this cash register and LOVES it. She actually has a birthday party this weekend that this will be perfect for. Thanks for posting Collin!!! I have not seen these lower than retail price of $39.99.
You’re very welcome Ashley!
We have this and our 4yo loves it. Somehow I was able to snag it a few years back when target had their clearance toy sale!!!
Sweet!
Target has it close to this price too. Plus 5% redcard, and free shipping, if you have it.
Oh cool! Thanks for the heads up Tracy! Just updated!
Thank you for the Target tip. Had a little over $11 on a gift card and with 5% off I paid a little over $15 for this to be shipped to my door. My 5 and 2 year olds will be so excited.
My sister and I used this for our garage sale last summer π
My 3 year old got this for Christmas and it was by far her favorite gift π
Oh good! Thanks for the feedback Lisa!
Found this at a thrift store several years ago for $2. My 3 boys love it and still play with it often. Ages 7, 4, and 2.
Great find Holly!
Hi all,
Reading the great reviews on this you but honestly why do kids like this toy. Don’t they feel it just is a continuation of math from school. Can someone please tell what exactly is the play value for this
It’s the buttons and the drawer pops out. It last forever because it uses solar power instead of batteries. It’s a sturdy toy. If you can find it used, that’s the best deal. For gifts that you want to buy new, this price is great! It’s been around $16 on Amazon for a Gold Box sale in the past, though.
My 2 y/o son, 4 y/o granddaughter, and 6 and 7 y/o nieces all love playing store and restaurant with this cash register. Comes with play money. Great price!
My sons have this- now 6 and 4 and I laminated the money to help it last. Probably not so necessary but mom has a laminator and likes to play. Also you can give your kids spent gift cards or those fake promotional credit cards from the mail and they will try to sell everything to you. It’s just playing pretend. Mine swipe items along the top for the “scanner”.
