I picked up those custard cups when there was a deal for Black Friday and I use them for so many things now! Toppings and queso dip for taco night… as baby food bowls… a small dish for applesauce or ice cream or a snack. And I love how they have lids! I do suggest not microwaving the lids, though, because they have a tendency to warp if too hot.

Cool! Glad to hear how useful they are! Thanks for sharing!

I have the stainless steel canisters set and I have mixed feelings about them. They are nice and heavy and they are actually glass canisters wrapped in stainless steel. Thing is they don’t have airtight lids. Sugar always gets hard and need to break it up every so often. .

Thanks for the honest feedack Mona! Good to know!

An easy way to keep sugar and brown sugar from separating – stick a piece of bread in the canister. Doesn’t effect the taste or anything, and the bread goes stale and crunchy (not moldy) and gives all its moisture to the sugar. I usually use an end piece that I wouldn’t have eaten anyway. Easier than chiseling off a chunk when you need it for a recipe. 🙂

some of the items have a 2$ handling fee. I was going to get the 2 gallon glass jug, but after the discount, shipping, and handling fee it comes out to 21$. I will have to pass 🙁
