Would buy this if we still have our hangouts like I used to with all my friends
Anyone doubting if this is good – trust me IT IS. Just pick up some flavacol (you’ll have to purchase this online), and some coconut oil along with some popcorn kernels and you’ll have great movie theater popcorn!
I was able to get flavacol at a local restaurant supply company. That and coconut oil are great, I agree!
I’ll have to try the coconut oil! I just use veg oil and popcorn salt. This is the ONLY way we make popcorn. Kids get so excited when they see the pot come out 😉
Thanks for such helpful feedback Carrie!
This looks and sounds so good! I went online and was going to order the flavacol until I saw it had nearly 3000mg of sodium in 1tsp. My father was recently diagnosed with congestive heart failure so I watch everythjng my family now eats.
I had one similar to this that I purchased at target and I just used coconut oil and kernels and it was delicious. Ours broke and I was so disappointed when it did.
This looks identical to my Whirley Pop I bought a few weeks ago. They are amazing! I make popcorn every single night. My kids love it too. Just FYI, the Whirley Pop is $20 at Bed Bath and Beyond before a 20% off coupon…
We have one similar and LOVE it!!
Glad to hear it Dawn! Thanks for sharing!
I just put oil and kernels in a regular pan, put the lid on, and shake. Perfect popcorn every time!
Love homemade popcorn! I like to melt butter and brown sugar in a pan on the stovetop over med heat, add a splash of vanilla and half&half or cream and a pinch of salt, let it come to a bubbling boil and stir stir stir…let it cool for a minute and drizzle on your popcorn and you have the most amazing homemade caramel corn. Drooling just thinking about it! Throw in a few chocolate chips too if you want and they get all melty…YUMMMM 😀
Sounds super Yummy! 🙂
Price when up!
I wish they made one of these that could be used on glass top stoves. 🙁
It’s back on sale for $18 today. I like that it’s stainless, although hesitating because of mixed reviews.
