(Thanks, My Momma Taught Me)
Just FYI it’s not easy to cancel. You have to submit a request then do it via email exchange while they try to persuade you. Took my online request and 4 emails from me to get it done. Also I was going to stay a member bc I like the concept, but stuff I buy is actually cheaper for me at Costco, amazon and my local grocery store.
Bummer! Sorry to hear how difficult it was to cancel. Thanks for the honest feedback!
The Nutiva Coconut Oil is awesome! But heads up to some, it has a strong coconut smell and flavor whereas other kinds of coconut oil do not, or at least not so much. My husband and I are not complaining though π
Thanks for sharing! Good to know!
If that’s the case then I NEED this!! Thank you for sharing! #allthingscoconut
I definitely plan on canceling the membership once I get my purchase, hopefully they don’t make it too difficult.
Cancellation was the most difficult cancellation I have ever had. Not worth it, in my opinion. They make sure to give you a hard time. I had to send four emails, They kept on offering discounted price on membership, then they stopped responding so I had to call.
I also had a tough time time cancelling. I sent a note instructing them to cancel & then they countered with a discounted membership offer. I didn’t respond to it (assuming I was cancelled), and they charged me the membership fee anyway. I was furious, but they refunded it. Luckily, I had used my Amex card (easy to dispute & get some resolution), but what a pain. Not worth the hassle IMO!

Thank You!!
It also took me multiple calls and emails to cancel. They then sent me confirmation that I canceled, but was charged for another year anyway at the end of my trial period. Then I talked to them and they told me that from their records I was canceled but the person entering the information never finished through the cancelling. It was in the record, but I was never removed. I just thought it seemed incompetent for what is supposedly a good company. I was cancelling because I don’t think they had enough of the things I buy. I don’t think if they did though I would not use the company anyway if this is how they work.
Does anyone know if a gift card works with this company? I’ve experienced the cancellation dilemma before and the haggle so I’ve resorted to keeping small gift cards with only $1-$5 on them which are typical “tester” amounts to see if a card is valid. It just seems easier in-case a company is aggressive in their haggling or “accidentally” doesn’t cancel you in time. I’m glad Amazon makes it easy to cancel their trial!
Yes Natasha, I used one of my JC Penny rebate card, and it worked fine.
