Hi Kathy! Were you able to checkout with Visa Checkout?
Check out directly with visa checkout and the discount automatically applies.
I just bought it..looks like a great deal to get each for $12.50.
So glad you could snag the deal!
can you use a visa giftcard?
Collin thank you for posting this deal. I’ve been on the fence about spending the money in the beauty blender to try it out. I had problem checking out with the visa checkout and also could not log in to hsn. I found the coupon code from another discount site which I gave the Hsn agent when I called so I can get the discount, here it is for anyone having problems with the system:163511. God bless you.
You’re welcome! Sorry you could not get the Visa Checkout to work for you. Were you able to log in to your Visa Checkout account? Also I cannot seem to get that code to work for me at checkout as the details state that it is invalid 🙁
If anyone is looking for a comparable product, try the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge from Ulta, I can usually get a 2 pack with their standard Ulta coupon for about $8.50. And you can use regular face soap to clean any of the beauty sponges, though I have found that a bar works the best. I’ve been using up the hotel soaps I’ve collected over the years for this purpose!
FYI DR Bronners soap bars are a good dupe for the blender cleanser. Regular price for the blender cleanser is around $15 for a small bar of soap but you get a lot more with Dr Bronners and it works just as well for only $5.
Thanks for the info! I will try that out
It worked with no problem. Click Visa Checkout and sign into your account or create a new one and it the screen with deduct the $25. I bought the hoola bronzer and the one beautyblender with cleanser for $31. Great deals!
Yay! So glad you could snag the discount! Thanks for the update!
I have gone through several beauty blenders over the last few years, and while they are amazing at what they do (let’s be honest, the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge doesn’t compare at all- since the material both feels and looks different from the Bb and it also has a large flat area on it, which makes it impossible to “bounce” your makeup on your face to blend it, making it the same as using a disposable latex makeup sponge)- they are known to easily grow mold inside! be careful.
My experience is that the Real Techniques sponge “bounces” the same as the the Beauty Blender brand (you just used the curved portion on the other side of the flat) and that the flat side is better for getting my undereye covered faster and more evenly. But everyone has their own opinion, there are dozens of side-by-side comparisons posted online.
To each their own, but I’ve used both sponges and don’t think that they’re comparable *at all* because they’re designed to work very differently.
To see why, check out the Real Techniques “flawless foundation tutorial” video on Youtube. In it, you’ll see that the flat portion of their sponge is what you’re meant to use for application. The curved portion that you’re referring to is not for “bouncing” your makeup on, but for “rolling” your makeup on (this is also shown in that video). Besides, you obviously can’t bounce w/ something that isn’t round lol! And that’s my point- the RT sponge doesn’t allow you to use it the same way that you’d use a Bb, with one side being flat and the other curved. The Bb has a rounded bottom that is perfect for bouncing your makeup on, and what gives you that flawless, perfectly blended finish.
Actually, my BB is the one that grew the mold over the RT. I can see a very slight difference between the two (with favor being in the BB), but it’s extremely subtle.
That’s literally what I said lol…that the Bb is susceptible to mold growth.
Apologies–appeared as though you had begun talking about the RT.
I’ve been eyeing the Beauty Blender for a while but could not justify the cost. I recently got the Real Techniques blender from Ulta. I’ve only used it a couple of times, and it’s okay. I think it absorbs some of my foundation which is quite expensive. Excited to try what many people refer to as the Holy Grail. Thanks so much, Collin!
You’re so welcome! 😉
