Staples storefront

[Updated 1/15/19]

Save time and money when you confirm that your local store has the items on your shopping list in stock before you make a special trip! Brickseek Inventory checker is not only available for Target and Walmart shoppers, it’s also available for CVS, Staples, The Home Depot, Lowe’s, and other stores!

NOTE: Sometimes these inventory systems can be wrong due to theft, loss, and other circumstances.

Here’s how it works at some of the most popular stores…

CVS Huggies Pullups

CVS Inventory Checker:

  • Head to the CVS BrickSeek inventory checker, enter your zip code and the item SKU#, and then click the Check Inventory button.
  • You will then be able to view the price of the item, whether the item is in stock at your CVS, and the approximate number of items in stock.
  • To locate the SKU# (i.e. Item#), head to CVS.com and search for the item. Scroll down and copy the Item# found below the Details section.

Is it just me or does the Home Depot inventory not show up?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Darn! I am still finding the link to work for me. Are you by chance on a mobile device?

      • Jess

        Yes! Il try my desktop

  2. jenna

This is great since I often don’t do my CVS trip until mid-week and often find that the best deals are out of stock at some stores. Now I will know which direction I should head.

Just FYI, I used to work at Home Depot and their inventory numbers online are not very accurate. If it says less than 5 it’s very likely there are none, or possibly just the display. Customers would get SO mad. Very frustrating for the employees, too, most of whom really do want to help you.

    • Susie

I worked for another chain and the numbers often were not correct as well. One reason was due to the fact the numbers are not real time numbers, they updated once a day, after closing.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Sorry to hear that Sara! Thanks for the honest feedback!

This is almost never correct with clearance items. I see 2 in stock, drive to Target or Walmart and search and ask employees and the item nowhere to be found. You think it would be awesome but just creates false hope. Anyone have similar experiences???

  5. Lisa

I have found Brickseek to be very inaccurate for Target. Does anyone else have a problem?

    • Fran

I’ve found it to be very accurate for Target stores I shop at. I hope it works as well for CVS.

  6. Steph

While these counts can be nice, I work for Walgreens and have found some item counts on our store to be 40-50 items off at times. It can be caused by theft, multiple facings of products in different areas of the store, human error typing the wrong number, etc.

    • Melloddie

Guess good concept but bad implementation. I know for target best bet would be to call to confirm stock

  7. Tracy

I am not see the price for CVS. Is anyone else seeing the price?

  8. jenn

Another store i find with wildly inaccurate item count is toys r us. When you check for items in store on their site. I will never trust that anymore.

  9. Miriam

I once called a Container Store since it was the only store (out of 4 in the area) that showed they had 3 of the item I wanted.. When I called the store to confirm, she mentioned that she was seeing them as available too but that they weren’t available for sale since they were returns.. So I think that could be one of the reasons why the numbers differ and I’ve kept that in mind every time I do check the inventory..

Thanks for link Colin.. 👍🏼👍🏼 I’m glad I have an idea of what could be in a store before I drive over.. 😊
