Funny. Just used a Nexcare bandaid. I really like them!!
Got it! Thanks
You’re welcome Karen!
Side-note: I’m O-negative (universal donor) and just donated yesterday! I donate every 56 days, give or take, because NICU babies and the sickest patients get the O-neg blood. As I’ve had three NICU babies and five surgeries myself, I’m hoping y’all who pledge will actually donate!
That’s awesome! My husband is O+ and donates 3x a year and I am AB (universal recipient) so not as needed but still helpful
I go donate blood as soon as I’m eligible, so that’s 5 to 6 times a year. It helps to remind myself to stay healthy so I can continue to donate. I enjoy helping others’ to save money, but helping to save others’ lives gives me way more satisfaction.
How awesome! Thanks for sharing!
Got it. Thanks!
Says I already requested, I have not.
How odd. Are you able to clear your browsing history and try again? Hope that helps!
Besides the fact that the Nexcare bandages are great, I signed up because as a 10 gallon + donor, I know first hand how important donations are. My father in law needed over 300 pints of blood in his lifetime. Thanks to the so many who give blood on a regular basis, he was able to live much longer than expected. If you’ve never donated before, please think about it and encourage others to do so as well.
I’m on my phone & couldn’t get a form to pop up when I clicked on pledge (maybe the band aids are gone or it just doesn’t like mobile?) but wanted to thank all that donate blood! I have mitochondrial disease & can’t donate but my “MitoSister” (another young friend I’ve become very close to that has the same disease as me) gets both blood donations & IVIG (an immune system treatment which comes from blood donations) quite often & spends about 165 days a year in the hospital each year. Our illness is fatal & has no treatment or cure, but many of us require the donations to extend our lives, so a big big thank you to all that take the time to donate! 💚💚💚
