These are also great for brightening up closets that could use more light. I attached it to the moulding all the way around my daughter’s closet doors and it works great! The remote makes it easy to turn on and off and my 5 year old has a great time playing with all the different colors and settings.
The reviews say it doesn’t come with a way to plug them in It’s just bare wires on both ends. You have to buy the kit to make them work.

How odd as this selection shows they are to be White.
We have a similar set that we used under all the hand rails around all deck. A cheap and easy way to add some accent lighting. Looks great we get a lot of compliments and can be seen for a good distance

These are awesome and definitely waterproof. We have a 2-seat boat that we use for fishing, and we have them all around the inside of the boat for when we are fishing at night. They are ran directly to a switch on the battery, so I’m not sure how one would hook them up for other uses.
These have to be wired into a switch, Or a plug they are just the actual strip only. They don’t even come with the stuff you need to do that’. I purchased these not long ago myself and was a little disappointed.

you need a power transformer and a switch. I bought a kit from amazon with the lights, transformer and switch. I don’t know how I would have known which transformer or switch to get otherwise. I ran non waterproof double row set under my kitchen cabinets for super bright under cabinet lighting. It was easy for me to do alone. I plugged it into the outlet above the built in microwave.
