Loved this book as a kid so I definitely purchased at this price. Just fyi to anyone who cares, this purchase isn’t eligible for credits.
Am I the only one that didn’t like this book? I feel like the selfish boy became a selfish man and he never appreciated the gifts he received. The selfless tree became a martyr in the name of love with nothing left to give. What am I missing?
I agree. I read it to my daughter for the first time a couple of days ago and thought–” that’s not a very good example for her…” Haha
